If the price of gold goes up by$100 then does it not follow that the value in the ground goes up by roughly the same amount. The cost of extraction will be the same. Maybe there’s more royalties and commissions so an $80 increase might be more accurate.

I got a diesel in October that does stop/start; not sure I like it and after reading all your comments I'm going to turn it off. I thought it must wear out the starter motor and the cost of replacement must be much higher than any savings on fuel.
