Wonder what would happen if an attendee stood up at the forum and asked why they want to attract inward investment from oversees companies - then apply their tried and tested policy of defaulting and shortchanging on any invoices for goods or services ? ..... meanwhile the tinpot rullers become hideously rich, and the population are surviving on fresh air ?
This is the sort of Stuff which spawns internal revolutions -which companies want to set up shop in either of these highly probable scenarios ??

With all respect B911 - I think the Monies were to pay the Kurdistan grovt. employees - who have been existing on Fresh Air for years (y’know: teachers, nurses, public services etc.).

Nice sums Armax - but the powers that rule will instruct their MNR to put an end to anyone reaping such profits from their territory....... and the MNR will in turn order Jon’s replacement to shelve any fantasy plans of increasing production - until PSCs expire (or they can be cancelled under some trumped up excuse, or perceived disobedience).
I think we have seen how well this curtailment policy has functioned previously over poor, frightened Jon.

Any Monies from Baghdad would have to be into the MNR (for forward allocation to their infidel febtors) this would evaporate within the system as per ususal, and the oil companies would never see a shekel of it.

We have around $140mill laying in a dubious bank somewhere - the lucky local future owner will no doubt be using it for ‘acquiring’ the company.
Meanwhile - since our invisible BoD apparently haven’t a clue how to technically or commercially deploy the cash to grow the Business - perhaps it could be returned to us hoodwinked shareholders in dividend ?

Gosh there I go again - trying to tell our exhorbitantly salaried professionals how to run our scam Business for the benefit of its shareholders.

By assets you mean our plant/infrastrukture/downhole jewelry..... difficult to extract any of that without the MNR and local tinpots blocking removal. No IOC wants anything to do with the asset as a going concern - even at the current firesale prices.
So our assets, outstanding debts, cash, fictitious bought back shares and these flammible papers the PSC was written on - are essentially all worthless.

Why then, are they not falling over themselves to secure our huge reservoir of cheap oil - with its toytown lifting costs, readily extendable infrastructure, central location to supply markets in both East and West - and all for under a penny a share ?

In the event that an IOC notices our sub $3 lifting costs (when most of their’s are ten times that) -
could/would/have the MNR block any realistic bids from such ?

Infrastructure, oil in place, PSC, massive debts and interest owed to us, FDP rejected for ‘political’ reasons, overpaid BoD for keeping their mouths shut and obeying orders to do nothing to benefit our company - what goes around, comes around (but only if we take action to expose the scam).
How did that all happen :( ?

Sfire - I don’t think we were ever represented by any resemblance of a BoD.
At the inevitable forthcoming zero cost handover, the long and short term debts, overdue and under-paid monthly invoices, and the associated compounding interests due -to the miragesque company which was formally know as GKP - will evaporate, like desert dew.
Watch and learn how this will be done - with the greatest of ease by the usual suspects (dammit !)

Keep up EBB - my current theory on this is that if Cashti can manipulate us along the lines of
the recent unexplainable share drops - he and his mates will be hoping to pick up GKP for what’s laying in our bank accounts ...... and that equates to c.50p a share.
IE - they will get the company back for “‘the people’s of Kurdistan’” for no personal outlay.

Agreed maxi - but here’s a scenario:
Sneeking suspiscion that Shaikan does indeed dwarf anything held by Genel or DNO. Seems its true contents were skillfully hidden by all and sundry in positions of power and influence.
So GKP is the principal target for ‘local’ tankeover at a target price of 50p/cash at bank/buyback shares as I have been ranting and raving on about since the gameplan dawned on me several weeks ago now.
The Genel & DNO minnows will thereafter be absorbed at minimal outlay by the rulling junta in due course..... using The Good Doctor’s proven strategy, of course.

Don’t think the MNR will accept ANY fancy bids - they have a preferred local buyer who will put out the fire at c. 50p (or heads will roll) you see.

My conclusion having slept on this is:
Our BoD appear to be guilty of dancing to the tunes of the MNR - not working for the benefit of their shareholders.
A basic fundemental of running a Business would be - no payment, stop supplying.
We had sufficient Capital at bank to sustain this latterally, and who would suffer if we shut down the gravey train and preserved our product ? - not the already impoverished general Kurdistan population, but the benefactors of the massive pilferring hierarchy at the top of the stagnant political pile.
This would have been the correct strategy to benefit of the shareholders of the Company - rather than obeying orders from a third party to continue feeding the fire of greed.
If this can be proved in court - our absentee, inneffective, over-paid, NON-achieving BoD may find themselves in serious trouble ........ and most of them DO reside in countries where prosecution will be enforced.
‘Dancing with the Devil’ may indeed have punitive consequencies ?

Firstly - anything levied at Hawarami by the impotent LCJ powdered wigs will be easilly swept aside as he is above UK law, and far too clever to be caught without an escape route (his UK properties and involvements will have long since been protected).
Maybe the UK Uni who awarded him his PhD could petulently recind it ?.... he will be awarded many more honours by the rulers of a gratefull Nation for handing them GKP and the undisclosed wealths of Shaikan and its treasures for zero Capital (and escaping any need to repay the outstanding debts - which we currently assume will be repaid. How naive are we !).
Secondly - entities holding massive shorts will be traceable back to those having roots in the KCG - they own the gameplan down to 50p, and The Good Doctor will deliver it to them.

Thirdly- Big Oil will not touch this infestation as they know the dice has long since been loaded, and the inevitable result is in the bag.
Any offer from the Chinese will have been warned off as the Business is not for sale, as it is to be returned to (selected) peoples in Kurdistan at zero net. cost.
