This should be 20p minimum based on all the pro own coal news that has been coming out of Bangladesh…particularly from those that are likely to win the election.

Add to this the fact that the election is days away then I think sentiment will only build to the positive.

It has become evident that the US can no longer be trusted as a trading partner so countries (including the U.K.!) are flocking to China…and guess who has the involvement of China for the Phulbari coal mine?!

Last time we had a change of govt in Bangladesh we went from pennies to pounds in a matter of weeks. I think the same may happen again…but this time GCM are in a far stronger position with the backing of China!

Well this is a nice surprise to see! I wasn’t expecting this to move until post election!

Two 150k trades early doors…looks like someone is loading up ahead of the move north!

There was definitely some profit taking on Friday and this morning. It’s just a shame it isn’t reported in real time!

I still think it will consolidate around this level before another push up in the next few days. It happened before in the 20s before we pushed to mid 30s.

Also, plenty of potential news flow to come

The last time Bangladesh had a change of govt this went from 17p to 90p in a day and then to £3 over a matter of weeks.

Even with dilution I am expecting it to have a decent run from these prices once the new govt of Bangladesh is announced….especially given that domestic coal seems the only option for power no matter who wins!!

I would have hoped today’s news would have warranted a more positive price reaction. It’s a shame that today’s gains haven’t been held on to as it would have been nice to be higher come the next news!

Someone is slowly accumulating this and controlling the price as they do so…at some point they will have to let it go!!

Friday tends to be a bad news day! If so I hope they get it out of the way so it can move on up again!

I think it’s the other way. There is a sell order being worked hence the inability to pass 25p despite all the buying

That £120k trade was a UT so not a buy or a sell

There are clearly some sellers about so I doubt we will see anywhere close to 30p today.

The good news is that there are also clearly some big buyers about so once the sellers are done we should see another move up.

25p is the battle ground at the moment it seems.

The last RNS alluded to more news to come as they are currently in Guyana.

My only concern here is that of a placing of some sort - perhaps the experts / long term investors can clarify in terms of funding?

Also, are we expecting any other news outside of a potential update following the Guyana visit?

They are trying to stem the rise. It can only work for so long!

It would be better for the SP if shares were traded normally rather than outside of the auction period as it distorts what is actually happening IMHO
