Whilst I agree RR will eventually get back to 300+ I’m a little bit shocked as the rise in Boohoo will be much faster and greater in the foreseeable future.

Thought I don’t have a crystal ball, so good luck to you sir.

The SP will rocket when that news comes out.

Thoughts on Dow Jones crashing?

I don’t think this is like 2008 where a bank will default overnight as they seem to be much stronger and more regulated now even with CLOs being the new CDOs.

What concerns me is the massive unemployment in America, they haven’t dealt with the virus, fed has been pumping money in and the dollar is losing its value. Also Trump’s presidency has seen the gap between rich and poor grow more than ever, if he loses the election in November I can see the market crashing.

Does anyone have any thoughts on this? It will cause ripples all over the world and it’s something I’m keeping a close eye on.

From my point view, I used to be a loyal ASOS member now am an ad hoc Boohoo customer. I can tell you the following:

* Boohoo is cheaper and more trendy. The logo looks great and is catchy.

* The sizes in Asos aren't what they used to be, I think they’ve changed the shape of their clothing. Also what’s up with all the longline clothes, who actually buys those?

* Annual Membership for BooHoo is cheaper.

* Boohoo always have sales! They have either 50/60/70% off or buy one get one for free on shirts or reduced costs for annual membership or free deliver or 1.99 delivery. Asos is very bland in comparison and mostly only do 20% off for students. BIG difference.

* I choose Asos over Boohoo only when it comes to quality.

* Asos used to offer free delivery. They changed that a few years ago which was a bummer.

I prefer Boohoo overall and think many feel that way. Especially over the last few years.

Do you think that this is the last we are going to hear on this?

Just being cautious. Interested to hear your thoughts as the correct price for BOO should be 375+ and if this is behind them, I don’t see anything stopping the rise back to 375.

Boohoo is a long term stock.

I can see Rolls Royce dropping back to 260 in a weeks time.

I agree even though it was a red day. The positives are that we aren’t high in red and the stock has not gone below 204-210. The directors won’t allow it to happen.

That sounds promising.

Little confused with why it dropped so much.

We were at 220 yesterday.

Seeing green is fine but this is barely the start. We need this to rise back to 280+ and over 320 which is the correct price for this stock.

Profits, cash, sales, advertising is all in Boohoos favour, it’s just this witch-hunt that is pulling the stock down and it needs to be factored out of this stock price now.

This isn’t a gamble at 220.

I feel the same way. Boohoo have been quiet in the last few days and that gives me lots of confidence.

If they were to release a nothing statement, then it wouldn’t have much meaning. But they are investigating, planning and coming up with a strategy. It will take some time, solicitors will be involved and when the news is released. There will be continuous upwards trends.

That’s the only bit of recent news that is actually recent news that’s been posted here.

Just need a response from Boohoo but I think they will wait because they anticipate more bashing. Sometimes waiting is a good thing, gives Boohoo time to carry out a detailed investigation and come up with a plan.

I don’t think it’s a heist but I do believe it’s become a media witch-hunt.

The media tend to glamourise many claims in history be it under wage staff, bad practices with food, poor healthy and safe conditions, or in this case slavery conditions in a modern world.

It will be tough for Boohoo this summer but companies such as Amazon, McDonalds etc have lived and grown from their PR nightmares. I am sure if you google most big companies alongside ‘scandal’ or ‘nightmare’ etc. You are bound to find something.

I just done a random google search with Asos and found tons of articles about unfair treatment of factory workers and then another search about Tesco which uncovered many things such as an accounting scandal.

The list goes on. The bottom line is Boohoo is a leading online clothing company and online shopping is the future. They have little debt and tons of cash and are have grown each year. The brand is not just growing in Europe it’s growing worldwide and advertising is everywhere.

SP will bounce back. It could happen soon. Just have to be patient and ride out this storm.
