Also, not sure if most people noticed what happened in the last few weeks. Boohoo was the number 1 shorted company and there was a huge drive to push the SP down with the negative articles, downgrading, factory issues etc which were publicised on Daily Mail and BBC.

Some may say, this was the last attempt to drive the SP down. Nothing to do with actually caring about the average worker but because the shorts had an agenda of driving the SP down and channeled this through their media contacts.

Needless to say, it hasn’t worked and this was the last attempt as ever since then the shorts have been decreasing. The volume isn’t there, there will always be some shorts left but as the days/weeks go by, they will mostly close as the proof is now in the pudding.

Anyone else with a feeling of confidence that we haven’t had for over a year?

This has constantly been falling and each time we have a rally, it immediately goes down and lower than before. I don’t think that’s going to happen here, sure this could have some red days but I think the days of the 30s are behind us now. I sure hope so too.

Similarly to THG, they were in the 30s and have continually been rising and are double the price, they have had red days but the SP is moving in the right direction and they didn’t have much of a short to begin with either.

Let’s hope for a positive 12 months. I can really see this reaching £1.50 by summer if this momentum keeps up.

Absolutely. Loved the RevB update and would be great to see a takeover. So many stores like boots sell their products. What an acquisition that would be.

Have to give Boohoo management some credit over the past week or so. Great strategic moves made to make the shorters think twice about their move, the SP has fallen to an insane amount and this should be the last of the excessive fall.

Looking forward to a great and positive 2023.

All eyes on the shorts now. Also keeping a close eye on the developments on RevB and of course the January trading update which I am hoping to be positive seeing as we are in the peak season of shopping and likely to give an update on the status on the US warehouse.

The main thing is the shorts though. They have to make their move, the volumes isn’t there and Boo will be making some big moves in 2023 so it’s risky on their part too now surely. THG doubled their SP in the last few weeks, no reason why Boo can’t be flying too.

Lots of rumours of a potential takeover on the REVB chat too. Boohoo making the move into beauty is massive guys, I can’t even begin to tell you how much potential this has in the future and it just allows Boohoo to differentiate itself from Asos and Shein and truly become diversified, moving away from the ‘fast fashion’ tag.

The SP is very lucrative at these prices all considering what is happening now.

There’s no way anyone can say anything negative about this. Fantastic time to get in and Boohoo took full advantage and could very well acquire the business in time to come.

Reminder tomorrow is Cyber Monday and we are officially into Christmas season which means lots of shopping - not just for presents but for parties and nights out too.

I’ve noticed it too. Beauty, make up, skin care advent calendars from PLT, it has its own beauty section. I’m sure Boohoo sells some products too and Debenhams is massive in that department too.

Boohoo is related to fast fashion and yes, that’s what they are known for but the long term prospects of entering other areas of business are highly probable. Personally I believe beauty has a lot more long term prospects than fast fashion.

The founder has quit. Chrysalis Investments has sold its stake. Accounting probes are still ongoing.

Boohoo owns 7.1%

They have over the years stepped into the beauty sector so wondering what the future holds here.

At this point, can’t even disagree with you. It consistent in that you know once it goes up, it’ll come down.

But look around, it’s everywhere - THG, Asos, pick your choice really. The rich are getting richer and once it’s all set and done, the collapse is inevitable. It’s actually unfolding.
