I didn’t mean to hurt your feelings, it was a genuine question. If you have a hunch on when a capital event will be? I’d like to hear it. These are your words, not mine.

Apparently shorting this stock is no good because of the looming capital event. Even though today, there were a few more opportunities to short and profit.

So curious about the capital event? I’m assuming it’s soon otherwise you’d be shorting this too if we were a while away.

Exactly. When it rises 5-7% next time, just sell I guess because other than coming back down what else is it gonna do? Continue rising? Have a day off.

Don’t we all feel a bit stupid from not shorting this. We get at least 20 opportunities a week.

I’m all up for helping others but help us investors first please. Thanks.

Come on Apollo, come back, MyProtein has the potential to be a leading brand worldwide and it’s not only because it’s nutritious but because the products are flipping tasty, varied and afforable. That isn’t even including the vitamins.

Kelso see the enormous potential and so do Apollo which is why I am certain they will be back.

Good. ASOS is in an even worse state than before and what’s the point if you’re against the LSE and City and know the listing won’t make a difference.

If the issue is the market then the solution is probably to take it off the market, not move it from one place to another.

Part of me still thinks the plan is to take this private otherwise why would you be as vocal as MM has been the past 6 months. I still think of that Fugazi, wolf of Wall Street video, that sounded like a goodbye to the LSE and here we are.

Perhaps we need to be more patient, that’s our only option tbh, but it’s a risk because we’re putting our trust in the man that has continuously let us down.

Remember guys, Kelso have always stated that MyProtein has a massive future and alone is multiples the current SP which at the time was in its 80s.

Imo. They are key with what happens next:

All those transactions again support Kelso’s sum of the parts view of THG.”

Being a customer of MyProtein is one of the reasons why I’m so big on this stock and the future of the company regardless of the man child’s antics and rants.

Good point. I should be emailing Kelso too.

I contacted them last week post results, no response and now I followed up and awaiting their response. I’m already expecting what their response is, it will mimic MMs LinkedIn message about how everything is great but the rest of the world is against us.

If that’s the case, I won’t be having it. There’s little I can do as a single investor but if that puts heat on their butts, I’m gonna do it. Such a shame though because MyProtein is a world class company and will only continue to grow and expand.

A board clear out is necessary. It’s usually quite common in organisations if there is a new CEO.

I quite like the football analogy here, if the manager isn’t producing and the team are consistently losing, they’d be out by now.

Has anyone received a response in the last week?

Let’s just hope this isn’t the last we’ve heard from Apollo. They put in time and money to try and strike a deal, I remember having a good feeling when it was revealed that they had ex CEO from Holland and Barrett as a consultant. It really felt like things were moving and then MM pulled the plug.

Apollo then pulled the plug on Wood Group weeks later but there still feels like unfinished business with THG. I’m just surprised more American, Middle Eastern businesses aren’t snapping up these British companies whilst they seem to be at their lowest valuation.

The fact that Apollo values Ingenuity itself quite highly said a lot, imagine what they valued nutrition?! The mind boggles where we could have been right now. This time last year we went on a slippery slope to 32p at Xmas, let’s hope the opposite for this time…

@sp28. i thought too there were some subliminal messages through mm’s linkedin messages and thought, ‘this is it, this is his moment and the moment we’ve all been waiting for’.

isn’t it ironic…fugazi…wolf of wall street. so many subtle references and now with an incoming apollo bid. mm finally has a chance to stick 2 fingers up to the city and a big fu to everyone who spoke against him and doubted in. well, we thought that was the plan.

fast forward 5 months and all of that has gone, he went on to insult apollo funnily enough and us the investors. so that’s the city, the media, us investors, apollo and other pe firms, anyone else moulding?

i like to think of him as shrewd businessman with tricks up his sleeves but the past few months have proven the opposite. he’s actually an arrogant child with a bunch of yes men around him and can’t seem to understand why this sp is tanking and after all these years is unable to do anything about it.

so do i believe he is working on something for us investors? not to the extent that we would hope. i’d love for him to prove me wrong in october but chances are it’ll be another ****show and well saying oh, let’s wait until january and it’s rinse and repeat.

apollo! come back! we need you!

If you’re putting your trust in MM to pull something out of the bag in October, you’ll be disappointing. We’ve been shifting goal posts here every few months but the one thing that hasn’t changed is the tanking SP each time we receive an update.
