SopheBen, you're absolutely right – more travel, but these students have been here - coming and going for the past two years. All that has happened is their return isolation is reduced. Our isolation or testing will remain - at what ever it presently is. (remember the Chinese jab didn’t work and their testing program is as blunt brick)

ShopieBen, The article is referring to visits to China, The number of days in isolation is to be reduced.. China is suffering (like much of the rest of the world) of a shortage of skilled workers (and Ex RAF fighter pilots cough cough) . Most of the universities (around the west) are rammed with Chinese students all learner science, eng and tech to return home (to the lovely land of CCP) and progress the nation. This travel ban reduction just enables them to return home easier (Christmas holidays are coming and students need to leave halls of residence). And all because of Blair and Clintons daft idea of trying to court the communist party.

I think it can also help reduce risk to larger companies like building firms

Rather like owning two companies - one which leases the equipment to the second company , but is not on the hook if that second company gets taken to court or goes bust
