RE: New investor24 Aug 2024 18:02
Hi eachtotheirown,
Just a little bit of advice .. most of the LSE forums are not unbiased as everyone has a motive in what they wish for the share price to do. So never come to a decision purely from people will state on here. Yes some posters have legitimate opinions & factual info. But just be cautious.
However, now that’s out of the way .. here is my stance on ~ HE1
We believe we are closer than ever to a discovery of helium and/or hydrogen (& any other valuable gases) simply due to the fact that we are in the stage of EWT (which stands for extended well test) once this is completed the company will be able to prove that the helium can flow and we should also have a better idea of the size of the helium trapped under the service. I imagine they would have certain experts who can calculate this.
Helium is currently a very valuable & sought after gas, due to its applications in MRI scanners in hospitals, space exploration, and many other uses too. We can’t forget helium balloons either ahaha 🎈
So although helium one have been to other sites in their portfolio within Tanzania, they have decided that this would be the best site to proceed with which is Itumbula West 1. Some other previous drills did fail but I believe that is because of their site choice personally. Over the course of this share’s history it has however seen a few dilutions (someone may be able to state how many) and this has led to more shares in circulation in exchange for more cash for the company to use. Nevertheless many LTIs have averaged down and if you were lucky enough bought the dips or got in at the recent price of 0.006p/0.007p.
I don’t imagine we will see that price again unless they somehow say that the whole process has failed. Which I personally don’t think will happen.
So here we are in our current situation … we could be on the verge of a significant helium discovery. It’s very much a waiting game of when.
If it is the case that we have a huge helium discovery on our hands the share price obviously won’t be where it currently is.
Many have predictions but I don’t like to guess too much as realistically no one knows what it’ll end up being.
The main reason there’s been so many chats today as well is because we have the bank hoilday on Monday meaning that there is no trading. And the market will open on Tuesday instead.
So can it be early next week we will get significant news or will it be later on .. we shall see.
One word of advice. If you are thinking of buying in on Tuesday ~ be careful! As if a RNS drops proving the find it’ll be very very hard to buy in. And in the other scenario that you still buy in on Tuesday and wait for the news you might see quite a dramatic movement in the SP. It has been rather volatile. So just bear that in mind.
Hopefully this helps paint a picture of where we currently are! And if you do invest I wish you all the best!!
Good luck!
