I find BT's comment bizarre regarding the process used for the scale production of lead sulphide QDs. What other method is there that is superior to the seeding method? Frankly I don't believe him.

I really don't know Nanonano. But a new material/application could be announced out of the blue, a bit like the original sensor contract. Display still holds promise despite the settlement. Agree re QD based SWIR sensors, but I think the already developed and ready to deploy NIR material is not redundant and will be utilised. As for organic photodetectors, I don't believe they will be able to match the performance of 2D based sensors in terms of sensitivity and speed... 2D material performance is exceptional.

Very valuable and I believe will generate significant business. You'll just have to take my word for it, fwiw. If I didn't think so I'd have sold up.

The seeding patents are relevant to the above, but only in part. Validating them was a very important development.
If our materals do find their way into the above, we could be looking at the next ARM.
As for timings... I dont know. I believe sensors will be the first application though.

It just might be that certain other entities/partners of Nanoco wanted the validation of the IP out of the way before they commit to any meaningful commercial production. You never know, it's possible. Again, who knows.
