Anything multiples of the mcap should be a special divi. Pat don't need masses of funding due to the JV's and free carries they have.

I was thinking it might be a long way off all this, but with GoI now pushing ahead with MMDR we could be looking a couple of months before PAT submit a compensation claim.....and if Cairns do get paid out then the odds of PAT's claim being paid rapidly rises

I'm estimating an 90% chance PAT will now go for a compensation claim (as Cairn did), Fasken haven't been brought in just to wave in front of the Raj judge at the next court date, they will be putting together a case for compensation.

Anyone want to have a stab at the value of that? I suspect some multiple of the current mcap.

I think the market is pricing India at negative 50% at the moment. Every time the court case gets delayed the SP drops .... sooner we start drilling in west africa and proving up the resource s there the sooner we can forget about bhukia and its constant drag on the SP.

Come on Arkle give us some news on the drilling plans ... supposed to be starting in Q2 !!!

2nd'd ... Cairn might have been award $1.4 billion but I doubt they will ever see that money ..... If India ever want to be a global player then they need to stop changing the rules to suit themselves every 5 minutes and clean up the rampant bribery and corruption that is ever present in business there.

On Bhukia .... its been going on for years this and was only ever going to be a small chance of winning the case. I'd rather PAT just went straight for compensation and put that money intotthe West African gold prospects.

I've been in PAT a while, did a couple of trade out/trade ins and ended up on a free carry .... but last couple of weeks I've moved into topping up again .... anything under 20p is a gift IMO. I'm here for the duration ... super excited about what they can achieve .
