Look as everybody knows there is a no more bullish investor on B&S than me, but that sort of information is dangerous and misleading. Mogger should be applauded for bringing it to light today. However Every post on these bulletin boards should be taken as some form of coercion. Mogger may well have an agenda just as you, me and every other poster also, I'm happy to listen and if it doesn't quite add up, quietly disregard... but without opposing comment we are nothing more than lemmings.

The wow factor that really got my excitement about this project was the time quoted to pay back capex. Even if the costs are now wildly off and the payback period is say 4 times longer. If say, I was hearing these capex figures for the first time and the project was say, 4-8 years to full pay back then I would take that as a wow payback period...... Unlike the current figures that are out of this world, jaw-droppingly super amazing WOW figures.

So the point is, is the project still a viable proposition, And the answer is a Undeniable YES whatever ZYX is saying with his technicalities...

Absolutely not, there is no issue with liquidity I can easily get a market quote for 7.5 million on IG. I also have had issues with 212. They don't seem to be able to execute small cap or volatile shares or maybe are just unwilling, I get the feeling they are not totally tuned in to the LSE. The 212 platform is useless on speedy execution times, tend to nanny you by offering limited quantities of certain stocks and are very dangerous if you need to exit a position in a timely manner.

If negations have been ongoing for 18 months then of course the development numbers are going to be historic in regard to current costings but then again with the state of Sterling and the Dollar how does the BOD deal with inflation. Do they updated their development forecast every month or move away from quoting in a fiat currency and price everything in gold.... I would guess inflation is only going to get worse.. so if this is going to happen they would be better off, getting on with it sooner rather than later!

Hi Gussy, yes I also have an account with trading 212 they are cheap and cheerful, the execution times are a joke. completely useless for trading highly volatile and small cap shares, the platform is used by a lot of newbies and as such its not a serious tool for any sort of trading. I'm also with lightyear which is equally crap, with limited exposure to UK markets. IG executes trades instantaneously with full exposure to loads of markets. But you do have to execute 12 trades a year otherwise you pay a custodian charge of £24 every 3 months. Interactive Brokers gives full access to multiple markets and pretty good. I use these to access far east and Chinese companies- I.B. offers low FX exchange rates.

The USA is intimidating the Venezuela Maduro regime as they won't play ball with the US and want to join BRICS- Largest reserves in the world ... connect the dots. The world has had enough of being ruled by the Dollar and U.S. strong arm tactics. 4/5 of world energy reserves now fall under the BRICS alliance. The sands of control are trickling through the fingers away from the west.. The US, Europe, and Israel are desperate to secure new energy reserves so not held ransom from the BRICS nations. Nice bit of conjecture ZYX098 but this will happen come what may... I haven't and won't sell a single share..

Obee knew the value of the asset and tried for a deal that represented that value.. For that and everything else he achieved he has my upmost respect, I'm sorry his tenure in charge did not bear fruit.. IF this company is sold for anywhere in the 250 million region, that simply will represent THEFT from the share holders.. Darin alone is worth 30 Billion, the rest of the acreage, potentially 100's of Billions..... 250 million represents less than 1% of the true value of Darwin alone! Anybody considering such an offer as reasonable, is STUPID! I have not been here well over a decade to accept a lousy F***ing 28p!

"Tier One companies" I assume are the majors. The Exxon's , the Chevrons, Shell's and BP's... are these types of operators not going to do proper due diligence...thought the language and rhetoric in the CEO statement was incredibly positive. at this stage, they can say no more otherwise the market would go into meltdown..
