I think if I was Paul and Lonnie I would be waiting till I get all the long-term items for the Mou5 in place before starting sand jetting. So as soon as it Mou5 is drilled the sand jetting equipment and people are there in country ready to test this one.
basic logistics
Imho
Hi Jimmy 23
I think you are confusing about wit Loss circulation material added to drilling fluids and this is used for losses usually to big fractures. Maybe this the high permibillity and the had to use LCM for losses while drilling. Keep in mind they had high pressure also so pretty tough drilling if that was the case losses and high pressure a drillers worst nightmare.
Normally when drilling reservoir you would use weighting material and LCM made from calcium carbonate as you could control losses and line the wellbore with calcium carb. And as GRH mentioned you could do an acid job and clean out the wellbore for production..
Sounds to me the maybe just used conventional mud weighted with barite for well control and the barite could have plugged the pores. Hence damaged formation and going ahead with sandjet to get past this..
Hope it helps. But without knowing what they used hard to determine.
I am sure whoever develops the fields they will be looking at the drilling fluids make up for max production.
Voskas.
I thought the same as you initially. Who is this guy. That was reason I had an answer for you. Clicked his name. Seen he worked SAKA. And the Facebook post Keith posted had SAKA the main contractor on that part of highway.
Just confirming the Keith's initial post
Voskas.
If you click on his profile on Facebook he works for the company SAKA who is doing that part of the highway. And just look at some of his posts on Facebook and you will see he is not labourer level worker..
So makes it very credible
I think you could be correct there Keith with BP. Why else would they have given up operator and withdraw from a 25 TCF project in Senegal. Need to use the resources on something bigger and better.
DALLAS, TX —Kosmos Energy will assume operatorship of the giant Yakaar-Teranga gas discoveries offshore Senegal after bp decided to withdraw from the project.
Subject to approvals by Senegal’s government, Kosmos will won a 90% interest, the remainder held by state-owned Petrosen.

I am glad you posted here about the debt Zengas. It made up my mind to sell up as it looks pretty bad going forward and how it will be serviced. Don't understand why people need to attack people on these blogs as all views should be looked at bad or good. As long as it is research based.
Takeyourbets. I have lost €27,000 On this stock since late last year beginning of this year believing we were going great in Tunisia, going to get Tilapia. We have lost both. The African dream really finished
It was only when I read a post by Zengas stating the state of the debt they need to repay it woke me up and have sold out since then losing my money and I blame myself for not doing my research.
How will they get out of the Debt burden. Yes you do ramp
Really nice people.

Yes they are very friendly to expats especially around the Atyrau region. Just don't queue jump and will be alright

According to NCOC, from 30 to 40 local and foreign workers of two contractor companies were involved in the fight. The skirmish began amid a banal tea break queue quarrel in canteen, as reported by prosecutors. Our sources said it started after someone spilt tea on somebody.
The prosecution's press release states two companies' workers who were involved in the fight, had been working together for more than 5 years. Over this period there wasn't a single dispute, conflict or clash between them. Both parties of the conflict, Kazakhs and Indians, now regret about the incident.
Of course, why exaggerate such cases and distort the truth? But we still don't know the number of victims of the mass disorder at Tengiz in 2006. That was a similar story - allegedly, a Kazakh worker had tried to shortcut the queue in canteen and by doing so caused anger of his three Turkish colleagues. The other version says Turks refused to sign a work permit and beat up a fire safety supervisor of Kazakh ethnicity. This emerged a cause for mass fight involving hundreds from both sides. In the result, 150 Turkish workers received injuries. Possibly, some were killed.
One to watch.looks really exciting
Good news. Get this across the line it may be better than the Congo. Could be quite lucrative. 5p by year end with Nigeria in the bag. Don't show them your hand yet AC. Meanwhile Tunisia and Italy is bread and butter and keeping things going.
