There are rules to investing relative to BBs/:

1)Recognize the guys who have knowledge of the asset and post accordingly.
2)Do your own research into what they say is true.
3)Calculate/Evaluate the balance sheet of the company.
4)Do not investin AIM unless you can afford to lose 100%.
5)Do not set stop losses as they will be targeted by MM’s.—— And taken out 80% of the time.

Hi Jim.

My original thoughts were that all of the players would conspire to make this a seamless process and done deal.
I have had that in mind for about a year now as I believe they have been conspiring for that long at least.
Looks like you may have picked the timing right for the specific of rig involvement and I would be surprised if its not heading our way soon.

Laalee I think you are the closest.
I have heard 30-100mill spouted (pun intended) over the years but I believe the company last said circa $50 based on their assessment of drill site etc.
The top end $100 mill was many years ago and rig prices have dropped substantially since then - by half? - maybe.

Still not had time to get my historic “facts” together , however what I do know for certain is that there were 2 issues of shares that were subscribed to and bgt by institutions and one specifically was to pay for McQ. Indeed this was ring fenced and paid for the 8 months consultation - May-Jan as a lump sum. Subsequently the “Major “ bought exclusivity which took 4 months out of the equation/contract as McQ’s hands were tied. After resumption of non exclusivity McQ re- engaged. From my understanding the Jan end of contract became flexible due to the “idle” 4 months and McQ have continued on “minimal” remuneration. Primary reason being that they have “Golden” result bonus built into success.
Having dealt on many of these m and a projects all of that anecdotal evidence ,makes sense.

I don't have time to do chapter and verse but if I can I will.

In the interim 2 comments:

1) The McQ deal was funded/cash raised separately from everything else and if included would make the JUNE 18 pot >£4.0mio.
2) My contacts are acquainted with the FD i.e. met with/drank with etc. and so not your usual "market contacts" i.e. I trust them.
Hope that helps and will revert if/when I can dig out my figs that I did last year. for a cash flow projection.

I do not need to question the current cash position as it is not a problem for the following reasons:-

1) I have calculated their cash flow based on accounts/fund raises/RNSs - re remunerations etc.
2) The company has indicated in statements that it is "funded up to a drill."
3) Several contacts of mine have physically spoken to the Finance Director of BPC who has said they are funded throughout 2019.

That'll do for me.

Exactly Slatts, this game has changed very significantly with the BG now on board. It is understandable that folks are sceptical due to the longevity of this project and its many setbacks. HOWEVER, this is a whole new ball game with one of the players actually being the GOVT who frankly cannot back out know after such prolific publication of their support otherwise no one will ever deal with them again in the international business community.
The Public does seem in general to be onside with the prospect (no pun intended) which was always the potential problem for the Govt. No matter what you read here the company is funded for at least another 9/12 months and according to one source who has spoken to them recently until end 2020 - the licence renewal date.
This will never be fast enough for some, however the oil is there in some quantity or another (we know that as historic drills have found it but too expensive at the time to extract.)
Patience is a virtue and one day in the very near future this will rocket.
Folks have no idea how big this is going to be IMHO and it will not be too long arriving.

Was trading it on ASX last night and the starting point based on your correlation was 3.17p (UK) so there is a miss alignment as the AUD quote was @ .06p i.e. higher than finish @ .0575ish.
There must be someone who can arb that discrepancy but it's not me!

Be a bit careful with this “info” - Just listened to his broadcast and he is referring to THINKING he knows who the Major WAS last year who paid for exclusivity. Of course he may in the intervening time have been given a hint by someone of who it was.
I don’t believe he is linking any knowledge he might have of historic circumstances to the present situation except to say that that Major might return. Which he does say.
This doesn’t change anything but as per usual be careful what Malcy says and how he says it.

Bryn I don’t think some folks get it:
The EA is an ongoing developing process which includes signing off vested parties, where is being drilled and much more that is decided en route to drilling.
It is not a rubber stamp to say “yes.”
The important things are that the govt has now said that they are actively engaged, have employed experts for due process and that BPC CAN SIGN A DEAL WITH A FARMIN PARTNER WITHOUT EA SANCTION.

Onwards and upwards over the week I believe.
Not sure about red dot, might be just too soon.
Politicians are softening up the voters at the mom so that may be the strategy.
I firmly believe all interested parties are in on it and working in tandem to deliver, so may need a bit more time for the idea to become “boring” to the populace.
