Just for fun (because I'm not good enough to listen to), I think we will get back to the 18p level over the next week. with a bit of luck!
Profit more than double current revenue due to reason mentioned earlier. For them to say they have made £1m odd profit but only have 60k in cash left just demonstrates what a load of tosh accounts reporting can be. PS I do hold this share - so everyone buy please.
They made £1.7m on an "unrealised gain on foreign exchange". Take that into account and I'd say the results were pretty poor. Running out of cash not good.
There is an easy way round the 10p issue. I can't remember the correct term, might be a consolidation - equivalent to a reverse scrip issue - similar to what Tanfield did a few months back eg swap 5 for 1 shares. The problem would still be though that it would have to be a heavy placement v market cap. I think!
I thought I had a bargain at 8.8 but this continuing decline is a bit worrying. The reason why I thought they wouldn't fall into the Jarvis / Woolies etc trap is that they seem to have a sucessful business model (i.e. they can actually make profit) but have just been hit hard by the recession. I always thought if things got too tough they could just do a placement, but at this SP I think they could struggly to reasonably raise the funds they might need. I'll still hold but think this is becoming more and more one for the brave.
I received the divi last year and was thinking at the time, should you really be paying this out given the economic landscape? Fortunately I got out with a nice profit before the crash - mainly thanks to an analyst report that was pretty bearish. Results will be bad but as long as they stay afloat we should get a nice return eventually (please)!
8.85p to buy. Things are bad, but not that bad (imo)!!! couldn't resist buying a little more.
Anyone know the latest? I know it was something ridiculous (like 75%!) so took a punt last month
Really strange, I coudln't see your buy of £5k on Tuesday lunchtime - what time was the trade at?
I've just managed to get a buy at 13.18 - can't believe how depressed this price is.
Got to be worth a look at this price.
I sold most of my holding last week; but might keep the rest just to annoy Caledonia! I'll be interested to know what the board has to say. I expect a sweetner; not just a deflated market price offer
Was expecting slow creep up to this level. IMO looks about fair value now so might expect a little momentum overshoot before sticks around this price.
I just managed to sell at over 3700!!!
Don't think this will ever be a takeover target - can't see who would have on radar and no desire for investors to sell out anyway. (now someone prove me wrong) I bought some more at 3p; I'm curious to see how far reaching their technology proves Lots of patience required
Price looking good now - bought in again. Might have to sit on them for a while though.
It was a fairly large sell on 27th that sent price tumbling. Ask of 41 is not bad actually imho. When (if) I get some spare cash might take up a small holding of these - though might wait a month to see if we hit sub 35 again.
I don't hold this any more, but used to so always of interest. Anyone know what happened today - couldn't see any bad news or strong sells.
Seems more like over excited pricing rather than management IMHO. Changed my mind on this one now - sorry! Client list - construction, banks etc. - cost cutting going on everywhere (M&S cancelled refit, not from these guys but the trends there). Bound to feel a big pinch; though there is a potential of refit for Lloyds/HBOS I suppose!!!
I like the sound of this company. I'm not sure it is the right market for it in terms of share price so not sure would expect anything short term. For that matter, it is risky so long term may not be good either! Suggest only small investments/what you can afford to lose IMHO. I've just invested though. If you want to know more go to... http://www.hoodlessbrennan.com/stock-research-prices/research/?EntryId9=12282 But be warned a lot of subjectivity in analysis!!! Wow - sold that well...
