So I reckon the PE ratio will be about 8 for FYE 2017 - (current share price). A few potential headwinds we have noted so it might be lower in future year projections, but given PE of FTSE is c30, it seems worth investing. Might be one where we have to wait for the business to mature before we see the value reflected. ATB
Thanks CTW. I couldn't find it either. ATB
Shore Capital's rating has gone to "hold" today. What's that about? RNS looked good to me
Thanks both. I had a look at the half year results presentation. Page 7 paints a very positive picture. I have only a small holding atm but, after reading that, I'll look to add. KR
Can someone check I'm not misunderstanding the following comment from the trading update RNS. It says: "In the six months ended 30th September 2016, according to its unaudited results for the period, the Company generated revenues of £118 million, EBITDA of £41 million, profit before tax of £18 million and earnings per share of 4.80 pence." Assuming the second half is not dis-similar (although I note it may be a little lower due to a couple of thing) and so let's say EPS is 9 pence - that means that the PE ratio, as it stands, is about 55/9 = 6.1. That seems ridiculously low. Am I missing something???
Hi pal. I don't think that's right that the shares have to be bought following the delisting. Certainly the company won't offer anything for them (since they have no cash) - hopefully get an offer from someone though - but might not be pretty... GL
You have the shares and rights exactly as before - but it is much more difficult, (sometimes near impossible) to sell them - although sometimes you get an offer come along... You tend to get less info too (since no need for RNSs)!
Looks like sells to me. I feel a bit misled by the last placing RNS (perhaps I just read it with rose tinted glasses) so I've sold out today at 25% loss. Hope it works out for you that stay ATB
Route - that's just part of the placing formula, nothing more
Now you've got me worried about saying "buy" ;)
Exciting times ahead GL
Hi Sheldon. We have the Abramovich Russian connection too which I'm sure will help. PS Technically, gas weighs less than air and so they have loads rather than "tons" :)
I thought it must have been an error! Sitting at 4.4/4.16
Lymie - embarrassing, but I incorrectly recorded the directors buy. It's not a lot. Cheers for pointing out
Hi Harry. I wouldn't worry unduly. Small amount of money and is quite common on AIM it seems! Directors have just put a lot in - expecting things to improve. Let's see. ATB
Actually closer 7k, but splitting hairs. ATB
Hi Arminus Yeah - put 6k in today. I was a previous holder here and sold out to avoid the falling knife. I think this is the right time to rejoin. GL all
...participating in the last placing and thinking what a bargain - this is going to make me a fortune! Now completely sold out after some heavy losses (before the latest drop at least but I reckon a c80% total loss). Basically we were all fukushima'd. GL if you still hold.
...close to 6 month high. Will it stick and go on from there? If it does then gearing affect should give this a big boost - although market does tend to look longer than spot price - doesn't hurt though. Speculative buy I say!
Can we get back to previous highs? Here's hoping!
