Thanks Taverham, just working the figures out with someone and I had missed capex at 300m so that is something. I am still at a loss though but working through it as I say to see what I am missing here.

Why are you all so happy that this is down 30% time after time? why are you not working on this problem of true value? the company made 700m profit in H1 so H2 call it the same yet somehow manages to lose 50p per share overall. HOW do you not want to understand this? what would be to stop another 60p drop to 60p next year? equally why wouldn't we be selling the house and kids and pets to load up cos hey billions in profit!!!

Danl. -50p per share? Is there a breakdown of where that came from that easy digest? I had been looking through the last load of RNS history and couldn't find its profit and loss.

Can anyone help me understand this, looking at 2021 H1 sales 958.8 they grossed 446.3 profit I assume this is before the distribution and admin costs of 364m yet still make a loss? For the sake of rounding I assume 2 billion sales, 1 billion profit and 700m then for the year for the group don't they still make 300m profit? they had 282m in cash? I know the sales have been better for 2021 so what am I missing here? why are the making a loss? what is it that I am missing in all this?

10k (just over) I bought a few shares a bit early so I think they have skewed my average tbh. I hadn't noticed till you said that actually, but hey who's counting. Another 100k profit and I break even on my losses for being dumb buying up to 30p lol :( ugh... gotta laugh or id cry :) :(((((

Reardon95, not defending Maxage at all as I don't know his ramp deramp history but what he said was true.

Shorts have closed aka they have been buying and the share price has still fallen despite a short closing. If they didn't close then the price would have been even lower. It is simple logic.

Not "yet" invested here but I will be buying slowly and have no problem with the current share price as I am not a bottom picker so don't say I am deramping. Just pointing out his logic is correct.

? why do you think that is deramping? very strange you clearly know the answer and I assume it is bad hence the reason for posting such an aggressive toned message. Funny really cos I asked due to Joul and it made me think of THG profits vs revenue in a time of rising costs I wanted to see it.

Anyway back to the point please show me this isn't a deramp of any kind just asking for information from the group which I can't find. Clearly they must be making profit as they are constantly buying other companies so not sure why you are so offended by me asking for assistance.
