Disingenuous, drlongo. LFT positives require PCR confirmation. Travel requires PCR in many jurisdictions. Testing, especially PCR, is going to be around for a while yet. Variants will continue to be of concern.

What we know for sure is that product documentation is being kept up to date. This is not a bad sign, as it indicates that BC are attending to the product. Happy to see that.

So, we may or may not have EUA yet, but from link people have seen BC are updating product documentation on their website. This would suggest to me that marketing continues and we may at least have already had sales to those private providers not requiring EUA. Positive sign I think, waiting patiently!

No, PCR are going to be the standard for travel (all over the news right now), and every positive lft will need confirmatory PCR testing. PCR is here to stay long term.

The transcript from yesterday's FDA is not up yet, however the one from 31 Mar is. They note that:

"We have previously stated that we prioritize review of the A requests for tests that increase testing accessibility such as point of care, home collection and at-home tests. Tests that would significantly increase testing capacity such as tests that reduce reliance on test supplies, high throughput, widely distributed tests to address the public health needs."

We have seen them authorising rapid tests recently, presumably addressing the first sentence, however I have seen a PCR come through this morning so it is not just those. The second sentence is much more interesting for us, and would seem to fit Genedrive and BC's offering. I have confidence things are moving our way.
