Agree Cwalsh, they're not promoting this across jurisdictions (obviously EUA we want for US but it isn't just US) for fun. For BC it's all about the workflow streamlining and automation, and the GDR kit is effectively a collaboration with them and Cytiva. More to come I'm sure

Anyway, in answer to your last question, 1/ it's not a bubble, these aren't tulips, they're tests for an ongoing pandemic. 2/ This is far from over 3/ GDR is not just a Covid play, and is at a key moment for several other products. Anyone wants a low entry, they've got it now, might even get a little lower, but don't wait forever ;)

Just a counterpoint Dave, we are seeing respectable buying over last 5 days or so. BC all about streamlining and automation of workflow, I think they've got us, timelines are slow in this business but nearly there IMHO

They're not selling lots of different ranges though are they. This is the pcr they are selling.

I get that the longer EUA takes, the more FUD creeps in, but I remain convinced that the BC partnership is a bigger deal than people realise. The kit's up there on sites across jurisdictions, and not to forget their longer term goal and reason for collaboration is automation of workflows (more to come on that I reckon).

Oh I reckon BC reckon they can. That's why they're involved and marketing across Europe and US right now. They may have already, we don't know, but we do know this is the one PCR they decided to make their offering. I'll go with that vote of confidence over any doubt posted here.

Well, at least Beckman are taking the trouble to make the SARS-COV-2 kit available across Europe. Think that's maybe over black & white (though I do expect it soon), UK is wide open now via PHE which was only last week, and Europe through BC who only trained up staff and took samples a couple of months ago so giving them time for leads to come through. We'll see I guess, but if it ain't here immediately other product news upcoming to look forward to. Plenty of good irons in the fire now

(Don't agree last hope Jay, I think we're on the cusp now of EUA and BC sales in US, and have hopes for UK PHE for Covid as well as AIHL but of course that's just a hunch at this stage!)
