I expect the price will be kept low until Linda and Blair Thomas have sorted the tax out on their increased interest in Harbour.

Look on the bright side, you could still be locked into Polymetal and Petropavlovsk, this is far more exciting. I'm just hoping the shorters get sunk. Brent still above $100 and gas futures 270p - Happy days!

The auction would suggest that far more intelligent guys than me expected a modest increase today!

I think we've seen over the last 4 weeks some shorting going on that favoured the institutions that might have got a sniff of what has just happened, perfectly legal I'm sure. Any way I'm in until I see this boat out of the Harbour. I think this will have it's ups and downs, but in the end the fundamentals are there and providing gas and Brent prices don't crash and stay where they are for another month or so, this cash cow will come home.

SP has to go up soon otherwise they will have to face the embarrassment of dropping out of the FTSE 100! Bye bye Linda.

Could be just market sentiment just now or something to do with the beneficiaries of EIG's distribution paying their tax?

SP still only were we were in Jan., when Bent was $86 and Gas hovering around 160-170p.

Maybe common sense will prevail:
'In a mysterious turn of events, the Russian parliament's organising council has said it is considering calling an extraordinary meeting.

The lower house of parliament said there are "issues that require urgent solutions" and the need to consider "government initiatives".

The meeting could be called on Friday but it is not clear exactly what will be discussed.

Council members met today to discuss the meeting, but there was no public live translation and no agenda was published.'
