I don’t think 4 years to £2.50 but that’s just my opinion. These boards are not good places for any other debate than what you’d expect to hear in a pub at the bar.

I’m more interested to see the actions whether sells or buys of large institutions, specifically pension funds

Seen it all before on these boards. Best thing one can do is not read them, sit back and ride it out if it starts to stress one out

Marab those aren’t solely BA figures - That is all traffic from LHT, this could go to £1 as easily as it could go to £3… my average is £1.97 and I’m not topping up anymore so I’ll have to sit it out…

Either way in 18months time if this is still sub £2 I’ll have to just accept I called it wrong

There has been a definite Uptick in air traffic, the us corridor is the jewel in the crown.

However…… we live in a media led negative frenzy about 100,000 cases a day and endless lockdowns and misery all round. So who knows ?

Fear not biker - download Flightradar24 and you can view all air traffic via airline. Then research month on month air traffic from whatever airport etc. You will soon see the increase even from your cave..

I live over the west London flight path and I can tell you one thing - I have not seen it this BUSY with BA in months… there is a plane every 30 - 40 seconds with BA being about 1 in 3

Biden will be announcing the details this week, should be interesting. Unlikely to kick in before September to mirror Canada’s arrangements, but once in place likely to remain fingers crossed. Will only really benefit BA

Agreed - however I would suggest that’s already reflected in a SP that is now 25% of its pre pandemic level

The market is 90% specualtion - 10% Fact ! The sp will rise on potential, by the time the numbers are out the rise or fall has often taken place

Therefore regardless of whether it’s august, September or December when it does reopen it will substantially move this SP. until then not much else will move it north significantly

My target was always £2.40 by September, however originally back in February that looked likely by April.

Covid is a fast moving beast with geo political implications that effect sentiment impacting upon the market and SP.

I am hopeful that we have turned a corner and the news will be of increase in bookings in the coming weeks. The 30th July interim report will be important as hopefully it will talk of a return to the skies and numbers

Finally the US corridor is critical to BA sp and when that is announced you will see 5-10% in one day! However as long as our daily cases are surging the US won’t be in any rush to open

Everything carries risk and I for one like a balanced two way conversation. I have had success and failure trading… interestingly my failure has come about by previously panic selling instead of the greatest free gift we all possess - patience.
