Cobus Loots, CEO of Pan African Resources, on delivering sector-leading returns for shareholders. Watch the video here.
It is quite laughable and niaive of the rose tinted brigade to believe just because they filter someone because they disagree with their views they will go away despite not being able to defend the company with facts. Instead of offering well supported and thought out counter arguments they try and bully anyone who doesn’t agree with them which again doesn’t work against well thought out and fact based reasoning as to why this company is failing so miserably.
Safetyman, if the shoe fits wear it, but strangely enough, it is not all about you. With regards to the company and facts you again chose a smoke and mirrors response which is unfortunate as others see your evasive response for what it is.
I ask once again how the CEO of a company advising in an interview that September production was good for it to be less than good needing no explanation, you have no facts whatsoever to support the majority of inaccurate and ill thought out responses and as I have indicated before are unable to provide facts as responses to negative commentary other than quizzing the motives of those asking very pertinent questions as to why the company is in the shocking mess it is, why not be honest and admit you simply don't have any answers?
No answers to my questions in RNS's so would appreciate you not trying to respond with smoke and mirrors responses much like the company do, please credit those reading with a bit more intelligence. It seems the done thing and/or convenient to dismiss questions or filter anyone who rightly questions the lack of progress this company has made despite a 50% dilution of shares yet only producing a pathetic 48 tonnes in September despite being in production for coming up two years. But I wouldn't expect a blind faith follower to appreciate the point of the questions while others are having to distress sell due to lack of progress and inaccurate releases of information by the senior leadership of this organization. It is for them I hope they get there many back but am indifferent to the majority of arrogant know nothing responders on this BB, if they were not so amusing and incorrect in their responses and predictions I would filter them.
I of course have a couple of further questions for starters, there are others of course:
Why has the company chosen to dilute the shares on issue by over 50% since the consolidation on April 1?
Why has the share price halved since the consolidation on April 1?
LOL Safetyman, please remind us all who called those with an alternative view to yourself as "troubled souls" and "must be a bit odd", why must they be a bit odd just because they don't agree with you?
Did the CEO advise in a freely available interview September production was "good"" only for it not to be rather pathetic yet you chose not to find that a bit odd? (Won't go into the times he mentioned in interview no more placings only for an rns the next week with a placing).
Safetyman, you may find yourself to be thought more credible, if, rather than voicing unsupported personal opinion you were able to rebuff the negative commentary with well supported and verifiable facts. If your only line of defense is to questions others motives for posting on an open BB rather than producing a credible counter argument against the so-called negative comments I am afraid you are fighting a losing battle.
Let's face it, the alternative opinion crowd are able to point to tons of interview evidence where the company have put a positive spin on a situation only for it to be found to be wholly inaccurate and in some cases very misleading. When the CEO states in an online interview September production was "good" for them then only managing to have produced a paltry 48 tons why not question their motive for putting a quite misleading statement in the public domain only for it to be proven inaccurate and then wondering why the sp is in the toilet.
Safetyman, what I find extremely interesting are you views on anyone with an alternative opinion to you and your fellow rose tinted brigade in calling those who post on an open BB as "troubled souls" and "some people might think that the negative, non interested parties with their continues posts must be a bit odd, or actually have an agenda more likely" just because they disagree with your so far failed and over optimistic views of the company.
What is you agenda then in trying to convince the unknowing of only the very minor positives without pointing out continual missed target, smoke and mirror communications, long list of excuses and continual and ongoing placings which have achieved very little to date.
I always find it amusing when LTH of this share compare how long they have held the stock for, the idea is to make money not to compete with each other to see who can hold the stock the longest!!!
While the tungsten may "still be there" it seems they are at present unable to recover enough from the ROM feeds to get them anywhere close to the FID numbers, I though GUG did a splendid job of explaining this a few days ago, this is a huge concern which needs rectifying.
The answer is quite simple really, where is the money coming from? How will they service debt, how will they pay wages, how will they do anything with abysmal production numbers even with commodity prices as high as they are, as usual, WRES will miss the boat because they can't produce anything.
Now, bigger questions need to be raised, how will they pay for Regua and Portalegre if they can't even service their huge debt, no surprises this is down and will continue to drop despite being granted licenses how will they pay to bring them to production, more questions than answers at this stage not that anyone would believe any answers this lot provides anyway.
K3VMC, do you have facts to support your statement to L200 "No-one cares. If there is a placing, you won’t be offered it" or is this just your usual unfounded and unsupported bluster and irrelevant noise?
Safetyman, you can question GUG's motives for posting all you like but I often wonder why the rose tinted brigade aren't able to strongly refute his observations with company provided facts.
Here is a case in point regarding a GUG observation, "Also do calculate the ROM: Contained Metal ratio. Its not stacking up. Chasing impossible numbers." Why aren't you and others able to defend the company against a fairly astute observation with a sound counter argument rather than questioning why someone is posting on an open forum, quite bizarre.
Could be forward selling next placing or Atlas draw down.
I would advise the company go back to only working 5 days per week as they seem to produce more working 5 days per week than when they did switching to 7 days per week in September. Let's also not forget despite supposedly being a producer for coming on 2 years they are still not even one third of the way to producing the fictitious numbers of their fairy tale FID, wouldn't want to be in this over the weekend.
Safetyman, can you read or are you another deliberately trying to mislead for you own ends. Please point us to where the company produced 220 tone in posting "the 220 tons for the qtr was less than expectations", the misleading statements by LTH on this forum are the worst I have ever seen, desperation springs to mind.
Troajan, are you going to apologize for reporting posts that stated fact and the misleading posts and false accusations you made regarding September and ultimately 3rd quarter production, shameful.
Troajan, I dearly wish you would stop producing totally misleading posts to suit your own agenda. A pre school uneducated kid can subtract what was produced in July and August from the final 3rd quarter numbers and come up with the embarrassingly low 48 t production for September. Why are you giving false information? The production numbers for September are pathetic despite the company misleading the market during interviews in indicating they had a good month which they clearly did not. Now please apologize for your misleading comments Troajan.
Troajan, you should be reported for not being able to read and embarrassing yourself, it CLEARLY states how much was produced so could you please stop trying to mislead on numbers that are clearly stated in the RNS, we accept your apology, lesson over.
LOL K3VMC, at least you have a sense of humour. It is fairly clear to see with only 47 t of total production in September it will be very difficult for the company to be ebita positive anytime soon, more smoke and mirrors. It is highly likely there will soon be a significant dilution or drawdown from Atlas just to keep the lights on. Wouldn’t want to be in this over the weekend.
Safety, once again, please provide figures rather than assumption to support your claim. In a recent interview it wa s clearly stated the company would achieve their production target for the year which now is not the case and they have even reduced their forecast for the year and as such why without support would anyone believe they can even achieve these significantly reduced numbers. Wouldn’t want to be in this over the weekend.
Safety, please provide figures to backup your guess of how the company will be ebita positive for the remainder of the year despite significantly reducing their forecast in production? Please show us all how this is possible otherwise your post is wholly irrelevant.
