Wait a sec.... it's talking about AIM shares in an ISA. I know profits are tax free there. I am talking profits on AIM shares outside a tax free system.
Skippy, it was just the huge 39 number mentioned and starting immediately on day of budget next Wednesday that concerned me as ISA and SIPP maxed out and I have a LOT in a normal account.
So if HEX has huge news the thought of having to pay double CGT to this shower of a government made me feel ill TBH
Pb, I hope you are right. They could do instant damage if applied immediately. I feel either 25% or linked to income 25/26 tax year so people have time to prepare (stuff as much in ISA, SIPP etc.)
I feel yesterday afternoon and first thing this morning cleared out those who wanted to sell and may hit/surpass ATH today. Would be nice to be at a decent level when first test results land π
I feel these will be at worst good and at best stellar and I still feel it will have one hell of a tagine.
My only concern is the budget on Wednesday and the possibility CGT on shares will have a huge rise and will be effective immediately. Labour said they want to boost the economy but seem oblivious to what any possible rise will do to investing in the UK.

BlueSky72 ... did you not see the presentation ? Bo actually states they only need to drill down another 100 feet to test the bottom formation and guess what ... they cased down another 100 feet.
RE: HEX - Sit on hands and wait π24 Oct 2024 08:35
Looks like what I originally thought was correct we could have 3 - 4 RNSs, one for each tested area, that add to the picture of Clink 1 and also the SP of HEX :)
