I looked at these at 18p and thought the drop had been overdone but bought another share instead. Oh well

I am surprised this dog stayed above 2p ... it may jump on good news though ... talk of some due but you should never trust the boards and gossip.

I feel it is ... only 6.5p above all time lows ... they are making a profit ... and are discussing a takeover offer after rejecting the last lot for being too low. I am hoping for 45 - 50p within a month or so. Even if they doesn't pan out i will hold for the longer term as the IVA market is on an upturn after the new IVA structure and ACG are well positioned to take advantage as they were already operating IVA's profitably before the new structure was announced. I used to use HSBC and they are awful .. they do nothing for the customer and mainly charge top rate and you can't even see the price you are going to buy at. I changed to Barclays .. they have a price improver and you can save on most of the deals where HSBC offer no saving. HSBC are a bunch of crooks !!

Assets count for NOTHING as far as bids go ... FAO being an example of that. NO ONE is going to pay 5, 6 or 7 times current value on a bid. Maybe double ... IF you are lucky !! Been watching BLR for over a year ... there is only one thing that amazes me more than the utter dedication BLR holders have as the price has dropped steadily for over 2 years now and that is the way management treat those holders ... they have been lied to and **** on so many times it isn't even funny anymore. The best was last december when they increased the amazingly low placing due to "outstanding demand" for shares when shares in BFC were more in demand. That just seems to be a rumour to see if the price could be raised so some can get out without too much of a loss. It doesn't seem to have worked. If it was happening news would have leaked and it would be around 30p at least.

Anyone who bought in around 50p i don't have much sympathy for as you should have done your own research. December last year, when the shares continued to tank, the management increased the number of shares in a placing well below the SP of the time due to " increased demand for shares " when no one would touch them. All that just to allow thier big mates in and flog them at a premium. The only difference at this placing is that management bought in at the placing which was also well below the current SP. To invest in oil stocks you have to trust the management ... i would not trust this management as far as i could throw a sumo wrestler so i steered clear and the results speak for themselves.

Why lie when it is noted down ? On the 31st October, when it was 15.5p you said you think it will fall back "1 or 2p" then on the same day corrected yourself as it went up. Why now turn up 5 weeks later saying " i told you so ... i said it would be sub 9p " when you clearly didn't ? You just make youself look like a massive twat !!

This is nothing like NRK .. just dropping as it is poorly run and the amount of mortages being sold. From the 20th July RNS ... "It is important to note that the Company advises customers on the range of loan and mortgage products available but is not a lender itself." So NOTHING like Northern Rock !

i have to disagree with you. These were dragged down on very little volume and now a large holder has sold 20% of his holding the throttle can be loosened and sub 9p MAY be bottom. Have to wait and see ... Regards IHNC
