This does seem to be a bit damp right now.
Why so little buying? Even if JD are buying on the open market.... they were happy to pay 50p, 70p and 75p...44p should be considered a gift for them
We are in agreement that there is significant potential upside if it works out. :)
I reallllllly hope that Perenco snap it up in the very near term. The more appraisal drills that are requested, the more objection there will be. Sell it all to Perenco and let them appraise from Wytch Farm.
$18-$21M is £13.5M - £15.8M
divided by 555M shares in issue (I know it's a bit higher)
is 2.4p- 2.84p
4p is not $6 per barrel. Have a look at the numbers I posted earlier
*I *have* done
Urgh. Sorry.
I done a few calculations with the new shares in issue.
If ADL have 8% of 30M barrels (2.4M)
Then valuing it at:
$1...SP of 0.324
$2........... 0.645
$4............1.29
$5............1.62
As Analysister said on BOIL... PMO sold for $18 per barrel.....all is not lost. :)
ok, I was wrong. There was a placing in the works. Damnit!
Bit hype-y but I have no particular problem with the idea.
My only annoyance would be that I derisked a bit :p
Better post that on the BOIL board too.
Expired? Please can you post up your links to back that up? :)
Or maybe the goalposts got moved at the last minute?
If it was forward selling, the price would probably be rising to draw in the herd and make a bigger profit.
It would also have been leaked by now.
Or, if it was all arranged over the weekend, it would make sense to announce it with yesterdays news and help flush it through with the volume.
...but I could be wrong. The nonsense yesterday about a placing suggestion...coming down to "have ADL even paid for their share of the work so far?" sounded more like people wanting to hold the price down. My cynical theory was that BOIL and ADL were being see-sawed so people could make two profits out of the same news.
Literally the last post to yours is a comment about their purchase.
Do you understand how trades are displayed on here?
Hope you've not jinxed it and woken up the seller :p
Those 4.52 and 4.55 trades are buys. I got a couple of quotes on the bell to test the water
Wasn't expecting an RNS! Steady as she goes it appears, bit of tailwind for the 3D :)
2.96M barrels to BOIL with the current estimates.
£1 profit per barrel (not $) with the current shares in issue is about .21p on the share price.
RNS Sep 21st: Colter will evaluate a prospect that has been assessed to contain gross unrisked Mean Prospective Resources of 22 million barrels of oil (“MMBO) recoverable (1.76MMBO net) (Operator estimate).
RNS Feb 25th: Corallian's most recent assessment of the Colter South Prospect prior to drilling the 98/11a-6 well had estimated a mean recoverable volume of 15 mmbbls. Further work will be required to refine this assessment with the new well data
8% is 2.96M barrels with the current estimates.
In the simplest sense....Each £1 (not $) per barrel is about 0.8p for the share price.
I am very much looking forward to reading the next RNS or two :)
No excitement until then. (for me)
If a placing was needed, it could have been organised over the weekend and announced alongside the news.
I've also emailed the company :)
