SMR's are not to be associated with the AUKUS project and the funding is not towards a new SMR factory. I can see in the future that it will be manufacturing towards the SMR's but not for a while with the new dreadnought program and AUKUS priority

I totally agree with you Ramderby that it should be left to sort it self out and won't affect the share price.

Working for RR subs I am one of the unlucky one's who has been affected by the stopping of the final salary pension and worked all through covid, whilst most of RR was furloughed, It felt like a kick in the teeth but also needed to keep the company afloat

Totally believe for the future of the company going forward and what it may become

I just hope that RR people don't get caught out by CGT

SIP and SAYE

Just an heads up if you are in the RR 2025 sharesave (SAYE) have a look at [LINK REMOVED] it says that You’ll not pay Capital Gains Tax if you transfer the shares

to an Individual Savings Account (ISA) within 90 days of the scheme ending. Remember it is only £20000 and the remainder will go into a sharedealing account on the amount you transfer

If you are in the sharepurchase scheme (SIP) [LINK REMOVED] then it states Share Incentive Plans (SIPs)

If you get shares through a Share Incentive Plan (SIP) and keep them in the plan for 5 years you will not pay Income Tax or National Insurance on their value.

You will not pay Capital Gains Tax on shares you sell if you keep them in the plan until you sell them.

If you take them out of the plan, keep them and then sell them later on, you might have to pay Capital Gains Tax if their value has increased.
