Unfortunately he tipped them when they were higher, much higher. But nevermind if it plays out well, it's not an exact science and timing is everything.
ARB up 23%, OBC up 21% (approx).
Last I looked, both up about 25-26%. ARB fell a lot over the past fortnight.
That last autumn 'buy (a small amount)' tipster have anything to say at this drop to 12p/13.5p? The lowest for how many years? And why the greater punishment here when as ARB is up if we're talking about the blockchain sector, if we must.
Is it 'Last one out, please turn off the lights'?

Bennster, thanks. I know that none of us can be sure as outsiders, but your logic seems fair enough to me if no unpleasant surprises/black swans or should I say more black swans with things globally as they are. Your comments about updates and publicity are, of course, very much what I think too. This has shaped up to be one of my least successful shares ever, of course mainly 'cause I didn't bleedin' sell it all in Feb '21 :-)
Delferg in March when (s)he was a regular poster had said there were 80k transactions on OBC's bridge? How many now? I assume not so good if the share price is where it is, but I am merely assuming.
I see that many a poster has gone including one who last year said this share should be 500p IIRC. Let the trend be your friend, Tom W would say in his BBC TV show back in the day when I was still young and had hope.
Reading another forum with very few OBC posts, one person remarked that OBC had risen with 4m volume in Feb 2021 (I think) because people had muddled it up with ARB. I wondered about that volume and spike at the time and never found out why there was that spike. Another poster on that other forum in July 2021 said 'short to 20p' and posted again in April 2022 with 'nearly there'. Obviously I wish I'd dumped the lot at that spike even if I bought back in now for some reason, like hopes about the AFN stake. What exactly is there to hope for now other than the AFN stake? NFTs? The bridge? Pizza 2-for-1 savings for the boys? Anything? I certainly don't have another 20 years to hang around.
Did someone dump 143k shares? I hold OBC and am slapping myself around the face for buying more a couple of weeks back.

Luckily I think that tipster (was it last year?) msaid only to buy a small amount. What is his target price now after he tipped them at whatever it was back then (was it 30p or something like that)? Perhaps I don't want to know. These shares were 25p approx about 20 years ago as ONL. Painful.
I wonder what that tipster with the large following on social media says now. He did suggest a small punt all those months ago (was it this year? I can't remember), but I wonder what he says now.
That's a stage I passed some time ago, B. I was on a third pint the other night and momentarily mistook the floor lamp for an alien -- shouldn't watch Blaze when I drink. Well, at least a bit of an uptick for OBC to end the week, and my beer's still nowhere near flat. (If only my shares were as good a bargain lately as that beer.)
Bennster, it cost me the equivalent of less than a fiver because it has a dent, just like my head after watching the stock market these past few weeks. Some of the best beer I've had in years (Stephans Bräu Premium Pilsener). Not everyone rates it, but it's great from the fridge. If I drink much more, I really will fill me boots.
The 5-litre party pack of German beer I bought from a German supermarket chain at half-price is working - the screen is no longer showing red. 4.9ABV. Works for me.
Well, that 's my story half the time for the best part of 20 years, DJ. As for arb, I think there's some update due end of June and I suppose people are placing their bets. I did have a buy order on limit there but it expired. I don't know if it's bottomed out or not, I'll just say good luck if you're in there too.
Not gonna count any chickens, but at least OBC's up 24%, ARB 8%.
Thanks for your thoughts on that, Bennster. I may postpone the scotch for another hour after reading those calming words, although I know none of us has a crystal ball, so I'll not bet the farm or even the Gro-bag just yet.
I thought the forums were full of admiration for the new blood at AFN? So what happened? On to the scotch now.
[pouring a dangerously strong shandy, biting my lip]
I see one or two have put a bit of a wedge down if these 2 trades are buys today: 10,000 & 38,618 (from here, the lse Trades screen)
