I am glad I am in profit now, but sad that there won't be a manufacturing boost in the UK, albeit relatively small boost.

If they wanted to steal the technology they could have bought a unit and copied it. So I suspect it will be honest and co-operative.

There is a chance IES becomes a mid size company FTSE250 in a few years perhaps.

Once the price gets to a certain point there will be stacking these up like they do on a ship and storing lots of energy for the grid.

If I want to pour money down the drain on bitcons then I will use the bitcon market thanks. This is real mining, creating economic value added not a ponzi scheme where there are always more losers than winners. Mining companies do not need the distraction nor the losses from these crypto swindles. 80% are total fraud and the rest highly dubious.

For every £1 made from crypto someone loses a £1 and also pays transaction fees. There is no economic value added.

Stick to mining is best ploy, buying bitcoin is a distraction at worst, folly at best. All bitcoins will fall to zero against fiat in the long run.

In the past when CEOs bought private jets it signaled time to sell shares. Now when they get involved in crypto crud that would be a contemporary equivalent and another signal to sell.

The directors should focus on making things better where needed, a little at time. They are worrying about the share price, wasted time looking for a buyer. If they have indeed had two years of profitability now then all will be good. In time a small dividend announcement will lift the SP significantly.

Directors: get on with producing, distributing the great medical scaffolding items. Carry on helping people with their injuries and the future for the company will be bright.

There is a dirty non-secret in the gas (Methane) power industry. Three percent of the gas is lost to the atmosphere. That is during extraction. transport and use. Three percent. Not a lot except that methane is some thirty times as polluting (warming) as CO2. 30 x 3 = 90. Therefore gas use is only a little less warming than coal. By using domestically sourced coal rather than importing coal/gas the numbers look better still.

Coal has a tarnished image, but is reliable and affordable. With dirt scrubbers at the power station the air pollution need not be excessive.

We need to promote the benefits of coal and not allow the gas industry to escape scrutiny.

That is a help. Lifted the share price today anyway. I have high hopes for this company, hopefully see some result in the bottom line in the next year or two

They have paused car loans. Banking accounts for 41% of which car loans is 35% of that. So loss of revenue for car loans will not make too much impact. EPS last year was 59p so one way or another they should be able to cover any payout. They may win at the supreme court. They may drag any compensation out for years giving plenty of time to remedy the situation. CBG is not the only one affected, LLoyds may help throw their weight behind dealing with the ambulance chasers. Lets see if I got this right at 293.6p

I am glad I held nerve when this dropped to 25p last November. I bought some more to add to the ones I paid 36p for. I have a belief that this company will grow quite steadily over the next few years. Profit will track the rise in revenue. There are lots of infrastructure projects across the country that ought to tap into the services of HERC. Their app is a plus along with the idea of helping with skills shortages via their academy. Will it become a household name?

My read on this is that they have lots of eggs in some rather good baskets. Few of them will hatch until 2027 onwards. The sentiment surrounding meat free has faded. That I suspect will be temporary. Vegan / meat free products are getting much better than they were. After a period feeding animals, people will show less resistance to vat made produce. We drink beer made in vats and cheese is pretty similar. Have faith. Lots of talented people are working on shareholders' behalf to create something good. The way pigs are treated in farms is awful. As the debt comes down the interest bill comes down, obviously but that enables more of the oil profits to tackle the debt further. If production is kept steady then the I believe the company will be in a fairly sound position in 2026/27

All they need do is concentrate on doing more of the same and let the debt earnings ratio gradually shift into more favorable territory. The key point is that it survived the hideous effects of lockdowns. For that we can't criticize the management, but praise them instead.

Given that the Cropper family own some 33.3%, there is plenty of incentive to turn things around.

Shorting holds companies to account - look at home reit

I often buy when a short is announced - the later squeeze give a good uplift

They have to pay to borrow, time limited, no div entitlement. As we all know the short depresses the SP as the stock is sold, but they are up against the monthly fee.

What would be nice is if we PIs were able to lend our stock out. I have plenty that I am to hold for a while and how nice it would be to make some money on the lending.

I am buying a small tranche on the basis that there will be a good few wanting quiet operation and want to be seen doing their bit for the environment.

The posts make me laugh, people getting roiled by discourse that differs from their opinion.

I was happy to get these at 115, the update is not fantastic but have doubled my holding for half the cost today. I expect it to bear fruit within 12 months
