Timor Ambassador , after AB visit, stated Chuditch worth over $10 BILLION to them as its currently stands (3.5 tcf) at the time they held 25% of Chuditch making 100% $40 BILLION, with lots of upside to come........

Not a punt , now a path to market has been instigated (never been one) with the MOU Chuditch-Bayu-Natarbora

super Major Shell 1998 , all follow on Chuditch wells 100% COS , current estimate over 5 tcf with many upside leads.

Principal 3 leads Chuditch , Bilby and Wombat (now Chud N and SW) estimate 5tcf but suspect all linked so could double.

Boil/SNDA have also stated that possibility also, while playing catch up on a limited area of the license to 3.5tcf plus upside....... Shell had multiple other leads Quokka caught on seismic partial rerun was one of them , back then known as Banicoot.

Said for 4 years , nothing will happen until the Island become honest and local issues resolved, eg we talked FPSO, they contradicted many times with Island ops for Chuditch, appears they won the argument (we go to Natarbora) , likewise until a route to market , they will Green light in place (the mou is it) Chuditch would remain stranded and unloved by the wider industry.

Andy Butler: They are. I should also mention that we applied for new licenses in the Philippines. We expect to make announcements on these soon. While we initially guided that it would happen by the end of this year, it’s now likely to be early 2025.Once we have more information, we’ll let everyone know.

Andy Butler: We did indeed announce that letter of intent. It is part of our contract negotiations for a drilling rig already in the area, which is ideal for our appraisal well scheduled for Q2. That’s progressing nicely and is a milestone in itself.

Other aspects of procurement are also going well. We’ve secured most of the long lead items and onboarded additional team resources. We now have a full drill team working hard to ensure everything is ready. Our close collaboration with the regulator ANP has been invaluable in permitting and other preparations. We will conduct an environmental baseline survey early next year, slightly delayed, but we remain on schedule.👍

Andy Butler: Yes, I’ve just come from signing that MOU this afternoon with both Minister Francisco and President Luis Suarez, the head of Timor Gap, the national oil company, and our joint venture partner. This is a big milestone for us and very exciting news. There are several aspects to it that I'll highlight.

Firstly, I’ve often talked about the strength of alignment we have with the government, the depth of collaboration we enjoy, and the fact that we all want to move forward together quickly. This MOU is a great example of that. We have very strong relationships, and the regulator ANP is extremely supportive. This framework allows us to have close discussions. The concept is great. The asset is a high-quality gas asset with great reservoirs in shallow water, making it something that could be produced easily.

However, the outstanding question has been: what are we going to do with the gas? How do we take it forward in a sensible timeframe? This agreement goes a long way toward answering those questions. A tie-in to the Bayu-Undan field through shallow water is a straightforward concept. That field has existing facilities to receive the gas, and this gives us strength in planning. We believe we can bring it onstream by 2028.

Taking the gas onward to facilities on the south coast of Timor-Leste, as the government plans to do, is a great step forward for both Timor-Leste and us. The MOU includes feasibility studies focusing on reservoir engineering, surface facility requirements, and pipeline needs to cross the border. This work is already underway and should be completed by April next year. 👍

Likewise makes ratio/stats worthless, as the busier the share, the more inaccurate the GUESSWORK.

it's my understanding , that as pointed out by meadow, you still understand sfa, the basic bare minimum , would be get of your **** and read the company rna message updates , still sitting on the rns news wire.

the rig is expected to complete its ongoing work in the region before becoming available for chuditch appraisal drilling in q2 2025, in line with earlier guidance issued by the company.

q2 = april - june ......... 15 weeks to april

as ab also stated on the previous provisional rig window (dec 20th-jan 2025) , these things tend to overrun and rig will be handed over , when its handed over by the current user.

likewise shell did the whole license , not just part like boil/snda so far, back in 1998 shell had chuditch over 5 tcf with multiple upside leads, snda have played with around 30% of the license playing catch up for 4 years and stand at 3.5 tcf

Offered the simple modern tech fix, to add real data at source years ago and declined choosing TRADITION over Tech , plus the fact they view all TRADES printed as both a buy and a sell, so why label.........
