Hope so, could do with some more positive news. Glad to see the stock heading north of 10 for now.
I understand. Is this why Samsung are challenging that Nanoco have waited tactically to rack up more damages rather than file as soon as they found out?
True, but why now? I know ME stated they had to make absolutely sure but surely the minute Samsung released a QD TV without Nanoco they should have put the wheels in motion with a lawsuit?
The pessimistic half of me finds me often wondering if this court case against Samsung is Nanoco’s Plan C, and they’ve triggered it as a final roll of the dice to try and extract some value.
I’m still invested because Samsung aside, I still think the business has legs in terms of its current offer and the potential of QDs generally.
I think prospects from Apple would more likely come from sensors used in their car, recent press quoted 2024 so a while to wait.

Perhaps they can find a way to use it to settle with Nanoco and kill two birds with one stone.
Is it also the case that, as Samsung’s defence is centred around their claim that the patents are invalid/incorrectly filed, their not actually refuting the fact they used Nano’s? Not that they’ll have publicly stated that.
Apologies, hadn’t intended to paste without context. Very little online about what Dow are up to now and what comes out of that plant in Cheonan. Was there any cross-over with SKC who also had a JV with Dow at the same time Nanoco were in involved with them?

Sorry, meant to write BOE not BOA. https://apple.news/AfK32JGJrRPKWn0VJyQgrcg
I read an article this morning covering BOA’s new contract with Apple for the MicroLED screens for the new iPhone 12. It cites Samsung in that article referring to them ditching their own efforts and sourcing them externally. Will find and post the link.
Interesting point bonzo; perhaps such funds would decide to hedge their bets by pumping some money into Nanoco.
Yup. No complaints with the direction it’s taking - with or without an RNS.
Interesting. Thanks for sharing.. I wonder if they considered a follow up on Nanoco and any other historical cases of infringement.
Sounds like the first (of many) delay tactics that have been discussed previously on the board.
Although that does sound promising, the majority could be a anything from 50.01% upwards!
Interesting. If they still plan on converting one of those LCD factories into QD display manufacturing it would be a risky strategy with the IP court case hanging in the balance!?
Reckon it’s triggered a few stop losses on its way back down.
You’d hope that Nanoco’s top boffins would have pulled a fair few Samsung QDTV’s apart in search of Ion clusters ahead of filing the claim. Without any such evidence they’d struggle to convince a jury/judge?
