This from their annual report (https://wp-nanoco-2020.s3.eu-west-2.amazonaws.com/media/2023/10/Nanoco-Group-plc-%E2%80%93-Annual-Report-and-Accounts-2023.pdf) as posted on Linked In.
Page 1, first bullet point:
"Final validation underway for two commercial production materials, with an order anticipated by end of CY23"
The wording of the RNS: "... is pleased to announce it has now fulfilled its first ever commercial production order, having completed shipments of two different first generation materials for use in infra-red sensing applications in electronic devices."
When did the order land if they have completed more than one shipment? It's not like Nanoco would have this stuff sat "in stock" on a shelf?
How's this for a scenario. Nanoco received the long awaited order, LOAM increase their stake, Nanoco completes the order over the next 2 weeks and then communicates it to the market...
Might be barking up the wrong tree (or just plain barking) but I thought we were waiting to receive our first commercial order, not to complete/fulfil it?
Well, if it turns out that Nanocoâs dots are in the sensors, and the Vision Pro takes off as âthe next big thingâ for Apple then we ride on the coat tails of it.
Hope Nanoco donât get left out in the cold.
Plenty of capital/asset management and investment firms listed as tenants.

@Kooba - did a bit of sleuthing with that image, looks like it could have been taken from the building at 9th West (Solow building: https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Solow_Building)
Nothing of any note from the Q4 earnings call with Apple. Only nugget relating to the Vision Pro was that it was likely to be made available in store only at launch.
Results presentation starts at 4pm EST (8pm here) â would expect some guidance on Visual Pro which may shed more light on the launch date. All irrelevant of course if we're barking up the wrong tree with the ST Micro/Apple link.
@Patty I consider the share undervalued and in a state of shock after the hype (hyperbole?) of the Samsung case. Until this order materialises the share price will languish. Anyone looking at this share who isn't already invested will (rightly) be pretty wary about wading in without the promise of this order coming good.
Likewise; I had some room in my ISA so I've been putting through some small orders to average down and use up my allowance. I've been a holder for years and I expect it'll take a few more years yet until we see significant demand but I do feel that the technology is reaching a level of maturity in markets other than display. Who knows. Two false dawns (Apple rumours, then the Samsung debacle) has dampened my enthusiasm somewhat but the tech (and applications) still excite me.
BT made it clear in the last presentation that they were looking at a range of options so I wouldn't hang my hat on the 'return' to shareholders being done so by a dividend (or at least not entirely).

An obvious question. Would an RNS about the grades have been released if PD hadnât stepped down?
So they forecast 8g/t in April but reality was 4g/t?
Interesting that they didnât see the need to take 100% of the extra.
means nothing if there's nowt coming out of the ground!
Unless the doomsday scenario plays out and the dollar becomes worthless. Then Samsungâs payout will only be worth a tenner.
Thanks Nanogeddon; that makes sense. Either way, it's frustrating... as is the radio-silence from BT/Nanoco. Back to reading rumours surrounding Apple's AR/VR headset and hoping that Nanoco can ride their ST Micro's coat-tails if indeed it is being launched and it contains a significant amount of N's QDs.
