It's were a lot of rapid growth and financial gains are going to come from in the years ahead. Commercialisation and scaling up of PF and CA is going to be huge. The companies building the infrastructure will be the ones to watch carefully. Big Jim will know all this and I expect future investments to be in this area, diversifying our portfolio further can only be a good thing.
Never say never, look at the price back on the 7th March, it dipped that day and quickly bounced back. For once in my life (to quote Stevie Wonder) I managed to catch the bottom of a trough and bag another 10k at 13.54p. It can be done with a little patience.
I'm just surprised at how little portfolio news there is considering we have 21 companies in our stable. Still feel this hasn't captured many peoples imaginations as yet, give it another 2-3 years when precision fermentation really starts to commercialise and this will take off. I think cell-ag may take a little longer with more hurdles to leap in the process.
Big thanks Horti for posting this link. I’ve ordered my copy this morning. I’ve been an admirer of George Monbiot for some time, more so since he’s gone vegan. An excellent interview I thought and reaffirms my belief that Vegansism is the right and moral thing to do for the planet, the animals and our own health. He’s a great voice of reason and I hope many more people listen and take his message on board.
Kimhappy you appear more Kimsad today. We are at 8.75 at close and up 70% over the last year. I appreciate the ESIA approval is causing frustration and testing our patience but the fundamentals of the business are stronger than ever. Please cheer up and don't be down, it's not worth it. We all want this to take off and I'm pretty confident it will once the ESIA approval hits the door mat.
Time to start buying shares in bioreactor manufacturing companies I think - there will be much money to be made at the 'picks and shovels' end of this disruptive industry in the coming years. Economies of scale will kick in as they always do in any new industry and prices to build these facilities will come down. A positive article in the main.
On another note, having 21 portfolio companies in our stable I would have expected a greater newsflow from ANIC as to progress being made by some of them. News seems to be a little thin on the ground - anyone out there think the same?
The illusive little red dot is nowhere to be seen. Time is marching on and the ESIA approval is still nowhere to be seen. In the current climate you would have thought governments would be doing all they can to fastrack fertiliser production in their jurisdictions. Nice to see the recent rise nudging 10p but would be even nicer to get the environmental permit and financing in the bag, then this will really steam ahead. Keep taking the patience pills.

RWT2 - Couldn't agree more with your comment, but behavioural change? really? you think the 'great unwashed' (yes I'm being unkind but it's true) of western wealthy society are going to change their behaviour to reduce food waste? Not a cat in hells chance of that happening (sadly). The supermarkets are also a huge contributing factor to this problem.
For fear of sounding like a broken record. In periods of high food prices stop growing food to feed upwards of 80 billion animals a year which we subsequently exploit/slaughter and eat. Instead grow high quality fruits, nuts, legumes and vegetables for 7-8 billion humans - simples. We have the solutions here and now. I do appreciate that it's not as simple as I point out, but it's not super complicated either.
Oh dam I keep forgetting, that would mean the world would go plant based, the obesity epidemic would drastically reduce, world/human health health would improve and we'd have more than enough quality food for every human on the planet - that's never going to happen so we'll keep looking to complicated and expensive solutions to feed an ever growing population. You couldn't make this stuff up.
In the meantime I'll keep munching on my broccoli and buying ANIC shares.

Jim’s just got a few more quids in his coffers. Not that he was short of a bob or two before. I’m confident we are onto a winner with ANIC, maybe not now but certainly in years to come.
Don’t get me started on these videos, I can see my soapbox in the corner calling me but I’m refraining from getting it out right now. Wishing you all a good weekend.
Evening Gonsan, yes a good RNS today, all positive stuff for the future portfolio. I would have liked a 16p top up, which may still be possible if we pull back a little after today. My target is 150,000 shares and then I’m stopping and will build another long term position elsewhere - maybe lithium or hydrogen next I’m not sure yet. I don’t want any more than a £35k initial investment in any one stock and I’m nearly there with ANIC. Wishing you well in your investing endeavours whatever you decide to do.
Tempted to pile in this morning but the buy button can wait another couple of days before being pressed I think. I suspect this might dip back under the 15p mark without any news coming along. I just want to bank another 30,000 and then I'm holding. If I can get them under £5k I'll be happy.
Morning CofL, I have a confession to make, I actually checked my stock prices at lunchtime sat outside the pub munching my nut roast with a glass of Merlot in the sunshine. Not really to see what ANIC where doing but because EML which I purchased at 5p have just hit their stride and are now 9.5p with a lot further to go. Interesting potash development in Morocco. The fertiliser market is seriously on the rise and will be for a good few years with Belarus and Russia being sanctioned. Wishing you well.
Just returned from a day out cycling in the hills to see another red day. Strangely I’m not worried in the slightest and just see these dips as further top up opportunities. It will be a spiky road to riches I suspect but with 21 portfolio companies in a growing market the risk is spread so I’m really not concerned. I’ll be drip feeding more funds into ANIC and hitting the buy button on Tuesday morning. Wishing you all a good bank holiday weekend.

Sadly I suspect there will be some underhand dealings going in before the permit is finally issued. I'm not saying this will be on the part of the Emmerson team but I expect friends and family of those issuing the final approval will receive notification before we do. A chance to snaffle a few extra cheap shares before this really takes off.
On positive news of the ESIA I'm anticipating a quick rise up and into the 40's before a pull back to settle for a while in the 25-35p region. Then another rise on financing depending upon what level of dilution/debt is negotiated. Only my thoughts. DYOR.
Go to the GFI website and check out the 4 new state of the art industry reports - all very relevant to Anic and our field of business.

Each morning I log on in anticipation of seeing that little red dot next to the Live RNS button but to no avail. The only consolation I have is that I can’t imagine the Moroccan authorities would use EML as their poster child at invester roadshows promoting ‘come and invest in Morocco’ to then not issue the permit and tank the project. That would seam a bit of an own goal to me. I tell myself this to convince myself that I’ve made a good call in investing here. Let’s hope our patience is rewarded soon.
