The grades are insane.

There are 2 companies I hold I consider safe - the rest are risky moonshots. This is one of the two because of the grades and the quick path to production.

Everytime I read about great drill results elsewhere I’m looking at them thinking - ‘eh … no.. they are crap’. They maybe are good enough to be commercial but in comparison the grades here are exceptional.

With WSBN - all signs are the results should be good. But there is still some risk. We don’t know for certain the results will be what the market expects and I held too much for my liking.. today gave me a nice chance to derisk a bit.

Aden I have a core holding and moving money between funds at the most opportune time. By doing this I hold more OMI now than earlier in the year.

I missed the most opportune time to half my WSBN holding - should have sold some on Friday and bought here. Bad timing by 2 days but thems the breaks.

But it’s not unusual to hold a core and move the weighting of your funds around based on newsflow and/or a share price breakout …

I already held more of this than any other share…. today’s breakout I sold half my WSBN and now I’ve way too much of this stock … it’s a stupid amount of my portfolio.

But I’m actually pretty relaxed about that. More relaxed than waiting on a WSBN drill result.

Just wish I’d done this trade last week!

Good stuff Napthman. The way I see it we have 3 companies drilling for a Havieron type discovery in Australia….WSBN, GEO and FDR

3 chances of the the next GGP and so I hold all 3. I have more here than FDR. Any one hitting GGP grades and its life changing returns….

A JV on the oil play (here) would also return multiples…

I should say that is the gold.

WSBN share price pulled back on the drill starting. It rocketed when they RNSd that they hit the brecia pipe. They were financed for 2 drills (but have now fund raised to see them funded till Xmas).

The story here is

- our geologist is Callum Baxter

- he was the geologist at GGP responsible for their discovery

- this project is his baby, the one he kept himself but someone needs to drill it so he got involved with GEO, retaining 30% interest.

- 4 drills are fully funded for now, so well funded for this year.

- drilling team are the ones used by GGP - they are very capable.

Thanks - and yes I agree with you. There are good arguments in the board for why it should succeed however it is a binary play.

Just checked your history….. I am very sceptical of MATD however I am out of touch with what is going on. Are you bullish on MATD? Is the tide about to turn do you think?

They look poor compared to PEPAS!

I look back at the pandemic as a time missed. Panicked, sold out of the stock market buy money was pouring into various companies and there were fantastic opportunities THAT I MISSED. Defence is the next sector for government funds to flow into. Follow the money.

Depends what you pay for - fast tracking would be to pay for photon assay over standard screen fire testing. Intertek offer both methods.

That and the flow of money into defence is why I bought here..

If it looks like a downtrend then your screen is upside down. (Slightly embarrassing but nevermind)

Who even cares. What I care about is what is in the ground.

The assays can use standard fire (slower) or photon assay (much quicker but costs more).

Expedite is an unusual turn of phrase for moving the cores to the lab. It would be more normal to suggest the assays are fast tracked.

But I don’t really care. I can wait.
