IMG shares will no longer be traded and will not reappear.
And you're so certain that Apple is going to settle. You're wrong, they won't and anyway who is right or wrong will be known in the v near future. And no i won't bet my house on this or any other outcome.Keep whistling in the dark hoping that a nice little earner is coming your way. It's not...at least from Apple.
No, stranger things haven't happened.Apple won't settle.
Settlement with Apple within time limit? Pigs will fly first.
The moment has passed...IMG will be a chinese owned company.Apple?Well come on.The original announcement about Apple's withdrawal came not from Apple but from IMG....yes it can be argued that once that decision was known,IMG had to make it public because it would affect share value....but perhaps a deal might have been struck on a takeover between the two if discussion had taken place...just a little longer.Anyway no one will ever know now the true situation.Game over.Whistling in the dark is no longer appropriate. And anyway in a fast moving market like technology what was new one week is old within 3 months.I exaggerate to make a point.Knowledge and expertise in this market is relative. And is superseded v quickly.Everyone works hard but the knockout southpaw punch can come from a competitor v quickly.Welcome to the real world.
The sale of IMG is conditional on the sale of MIPS.If Mips sale falls thru then so does IMG.Timing? well if it goes smoothy the whole deal, money in the your bank will be sometime in November. A few weeks ago, before the offer for IMG was made i was at a public event, when standing beside me was Sir Hossein Yassie. He didn't know me but i knew him, having gone to past IMG agm's.I asked him what price he thought the share's would fetch. We then spoke for more than 10 minute's, he emphasising that he was outside the loop, had no more information than anyone else but he like everyone else on this board, had views. He spoke about Apple,Samsung, the chinese and their possible reactions and then told me within parameters, what he thought the share's might sell for.He was right. But then others on this board have made similar predictions and they were right too. Some of his views are shared by others here but he had insights which i had not considered before nor heard expressed and they were thought provoking. An interesting ten minutes.
Whether you agree or not makes no difference to the fact.At the point that the takeover is done, the outstanding shares will attract the agreed price if 1.82..The rest of what you say makes no sense..
The price you will get is 1.82 at the point of sale, providing MIPS is sold and there is no objection to the sale. 1.82 is not a ball park figure. It is a precise figure agreed between both parties. In addition if the dispute resolution is agreed with Apple before the sale which will conclude in November 50% of the agreed compensation less IMG costs will be paid to shareholders. You may think that no agreement with Apple is likely within weeks.Quite possibly. But it's arguable that it's in Apples interest to settle more quickly, and cheaply than to wait and take on the might of the Chinese.....unless that is that Apple are confident that they owe nothing to IMG.
Trolling again. This was the guy who said it's going below £1.20.Pathetic, obvious and always wrong! The only person he's taking in is himself.Still he's obviously bored and thinks he's funny.
The usual gambling by speculators till we know more from the company.....but it ain't over by a long way till the fat lady sings.
Well the view below shouts the negative:Believe, worse, probably sub historic. The only positive point in this opinion is the pool of buyers now v limited.Interesting.It does tho' beg the question, how do you know? for all anybody knows the potential buyers are assessing whats on offer:The board will be examine the offers and the alternatives this way and that and of course legally they must accept the best deal, whatver that may that is in the interest of their shareholders. there maybe a bidder who believes that a lot of value undetected in IMG not yet realised but there, that with investment and effort can transform its prospects;Of course i know no more that anyone else and i may be whistling in the dark because lets not forget this is an opinion page and we can all indulge our opinions;Someones view will turn out to be near the truth.Take your pick.

Well it may be going down the pan....but if it is, it's going the prettier route first.
So what happens after IMG is sold but the dispute with Apple is resolved post sale....do the present investors receive compensation if IMG win their case?
What does sticky as hell mean?
Yes there are people on these boards who revel and wallow in it. Seem to take a perverse delight in repeated gloom.Yes of course the situation is serious but till i know something from the directors i will hold fire...it's not a bed of roses far from it but it doesn't help this underlined and repeated gloom....i tell you i wouldn't want to be one of their family members with a serious illness with their attitude.
Who knows? No -one here does.Everyone the expert.Except they're not.And certainly doing a deal does not mean takeover.Lots of empty vessels making a noise.Yawn .Yawn.Booker prize for fiction springs to mind.
well yes...if nothing is done if they drift if there is no salvation if this if that if the other...all true and the worst could happen...so possible worst situations are plainly stating the obvious. But if some sort of deal can be done with Apple then watch the surge whenever that comes and whatever they share price is at the time. The point is that speculation is precisely what so much stated here is.Speculation.Some obvious some wild some common sense some hopeful some whistling in the dark. And unless someone is privy to negotiations between the parties...what's the point?Everyone and no-one could be right.Someone surely is, there are so many possible variations.
so many of these leeches around. They should be driven off
the vultures gather on this board.
