My original investment, some 6 years ago, was a lot higher than 5p Bees, but I too have averaged down (unfortunately). I have held through disaster after disaster here, and watched in horror as my pension has been decimated. I still believe in the abilities of DB to turn the ship, and appreciate he has sorted a lot of the legacy issues.... However enough is enough.. With rising coal prices, outstanding assets and loyal investors - it's time to get the show on the road, and start producing! At the very least - give us a credible plan, and stick to it.

The silence and lack of any clear direction or credible plan is frustrating. We were clearly misled in the UC takeover, as despite several delays, we were never told the truth regarding UC's Eskom contract being a deal breaker. I fully understand that the sensible thing was to back out on UC failure to secure the Eskom Contract - but feel we should have been made aware earlier that it was critical to the outcome of the deal. We were told that the water licence appeal was anticipated, and moves were already in place to resolve it - but again silence with no update to the current situation which is now dragging on. We have subsequently been told we are seeking a cash generating acquisition, by end of October (?) (cant remember where I read that), but here we are at mid October and still nothing but silence. I have been here with a substantial investment, and watched and held as days turn into weeks, turn into months, turn into years. With a rising coal price, and extensive valuable assets, we need to be producing, or at least have a credible plan. My faith in David Brown, together with my patience is being severely tested. News please......

Have UC finalised a deal with ESKOM for NCC. Limited production restarted at NCC at the beginning of this month, with a ramp up to full production by December, but without an ESKOM deal - where is the value in it....?

details on how the i is going, and future projections for it would be good. I see the increased price of 50p commenced on Monday 12th....could that be the catalyst for all the buying...? hopefully producing some good numbers.

Whatever is going on - you can guarantee we'll be the last to find out. I think we are in play and someone is accumulating a sizeable holding. It could not sustain the rate of rise seen yesterday without a pullback due to day traders selling. However there were an awful lot of buys still going through today, marked as sells due to delayed reporting. I think we could continue back up once it's had chance to catch its breath. Looks very oversold still.

Looks like someone stakebuilding to me. Major investor had meeting with Mgmt yesterday. Could there be a bid in the offing....

My gut feeling is it will be off... But, DB is a smart cookie and has an extremely successful track record. If this deal is no longer right, he will walk away, and rightly so. It is by no means game over for CZA. He has resolved all legacy issues, and he will have something else up his sleeve.

So am I reading this right... We have not yet met certain conditions that may defeat the deal ie....CoAL notes that the CSA with Eskom at NCC has not yet been finalised or signed. Is this an attempt to force someones hand to get this signed, or is it game over.... as there will be no further extension beyond 15th July.

Spread looking more reasonable again, with a few buts going through. I suspect some of the 'sells' from this morning were buys too. Onwards and upwards to the news?

The value at £15200 would suggest it was someone 'Bed & ISA' ing some shares. They will have been negotiated at the lower price to get maximum no of shares through... IMHO

They certainly seem to be taking the release of any announcement to the wire - which can't bode well. If it were good news they would surely want to get it out asap.......
