YES!! Constructive Criticism!15 Jul 2021 15:25
I enjoy reading this BB. But I have to STRONGLY disagree with some of the posts here. We have been told several times that they will be no placing. The company has sufficient cash for at least 12 months and there is a very high probability that they will conclude with a positive deal for VAL201 / VAL301 before year end. This will then form the foundation for Valirx and hopefully no more placing in our life time. If they get a decent cash upfront and the share price does not move up significantly then I would suggest that Suzy does share buyback! Berkshire does this all the time! Look at their share price!
We all know that with AIM is known for placing and most CEO use their position to earn a good living without adding any value to shareholders. But these posters knowingly use this and other scaremongering tactics to get less informed investors to sell. I personally think this is wrong. I'm in favour of posting constructive comments here so that we can all enhance our knowledge and have a intelligent discussion. I really think that Suzy and team are very open minded and are willing to take in useful information from us. It also seems that the clinical data we had at the start of the year wasn't sufficient for us to get a good deal so additional work by PYC should considerable enhance the value and chances of a deal in near future.
We all want Valirx to succeed for our investment, for Patients and for the management/staffs. Cancer is a death sentence for some people and I'm sure people here have lost someone they know to this disease.
Just thinking about the deal with PYC. The work that PYC is doing for VAL is easily worth around £1 million pound based on what PYC charges other clients. Their CEO, Dr Paul Harper, has 35 years of experience in drug development and their BOD have a combined experience in this sector of +65 years. They would have access to all the data to do their due dilligence before signing the contract for unpaid work. PYC BOD seem confident enough to not take any upfront payment or even shares in the company. This should speak volume for any investor thinking of buying VAL.
Am I confident in VAL? Yes, I am! I think we have the right management running the company. Remember, Suzy, doesn't have to hold zoom calls or even answer our emails or monthly Q&A. I think someone who does this really appreciates the value of shareholders. I have invested in companies where the CEO never say a word until AGM or just before placing. I think everyone, shareholders, patients, BOD, staffs will gain enormous benefit when a deal is concluded. So come on Suzy, BRING IT HOME AND PLEASE, NO! NO!! NO!!! MORE PENALTIES THIS TIME!!
