An extraordinary opportunity: Live Q&A28 Sep 2021 13:01
Yes, disappointed in not getting any update before the Q&A. But what else did we expect from CEO? Suzy has been slow and only reacting to things in the past. Suzy needs to give us something to look forward to. The clearer her vision of Valirx future the better ( if she has one) and more excited will the shareholders be.
If you work hard from 9am to 6pm, five days a week for say +9 months with a team of talented people you should have something good to show. If not, then you should feel very confident and excited in achieving your goals because you are so close to it. The main goal will be to get a deal for VAL201 or VAl301. Maybe there wasn’t much information from PYC in May 2021 Zoom call and she was “cautiously optimistic”. If Suzy and the team have been working hard then today Suzy should have a very good idea where we stand with VAL201 and Val301 as far as deal is concerned.
What do I want out of this Q&A? I was asking myself this question last few days. I want to know what has been going on at Valirx? I want to know what progress has PYC made in the last seven plus months and if this has had any impact on a potential deal? I want to know what role Cenkos will play in the future of Valirx? I want Suzy to explain the new strategy in more detail and some clarity on where we are with VAL201/VAL301/VAL401? What are the catalysts that they are working on that will increase the share price in the future?
It seems our share price is too reliant on the work done by the previous management especially VAL 201. The last management has drained every drop of shareholders blood using these drugs. Is Suzy going to play the same game? It seems like the Valirx team are sitting at home watching Netflix and waiting for someone to send them an email regarding Val201. What have the really done in last 17 months? The work on new projects is very slow. Come to think of it everything has been extremely slow. They said that they will take on 3 new drugs every year but so far, they have only taken on 2 drugs in last 18 months. How long does it take for them to pick a drug for preclinical evaluation? Will they require additional staffs? We need clarity. Tell us where we are and where we are going.
I personally think this is the most important Q&A since Suzy become CEO. We only have 3 months before the year ends and if the CEO is still not sure if she can get a deal then what hope do we have.
