Substatially all x dividend policy x %age ownership16 Jan 2022 09:03
I'm expecting a massive dividend, and would love some of the 'out there's valuations to be on the money, but if we're only selling substantially all of out assets (70-80%?), have a similar or lower percentage ownership of some of those assets, and are getting 80% of the sale price as dividend, should we be raining our expectations in a little bit? I don't have to hand what are percentage ownership is of eg WK, but thinkmits about 60-70% and hopefully the recently acquired assets are wholly owned, but should we be maybe reviewing our expectations and slicing maybe 10/15/20% off?
Id still be disappointed with less than £1.30, and wouldn't be surprised at £3, just woke up this morning thinking about those percentages and wondering whether I was riding the wave of over expectation?
