It was the record date set for COB tomorrow that threw me.

I didn't realise that share trades take 2 days to complete. So if you sold today, you will still be on the record by COB tomorrow.

I've been out of the country for the best part of three weeks so haven't spent much time on LSE; Jams comments caught my eye and got me thinking.

After a quick google, there's a t+2 on transactions, so anyone who sells after the ex dividend date will be entitled to the upcoming dividend.

It's not every day you get a dividend on AIM yet alone a company selling all its assets and turning into a cash shell, wind your neck in.

Most people on here will be experiencing this first time.

Because anyone holding before today is getting a 1.8p dividend for selling all its assets.

It will then become a cash shell.

I'm expecting it to bounce around .4 by the time dividend is paid.

Sharebel, what ever your position is here, I very much doubt that you've been here longer than I.

CS has never promised the earth or anything for that matter especially related to the sale.
In every RNS update reference the sale of assets they have clearly put the disclaimer that there is no guarantee of an asset sale.

There are several external factors that you are failing to take into account. No.1. COVID-19, Global Pandemic. No.2. Russian War. These two are direct contributors for the bulk of delays.

Am I happy about it? No of course i'm not, I could have retired handsomely if I sold my profits at the top rather than watching it come back down. I don't slate the stock and narcissistically deramp at every given moment. I'll have a whine about it and carry on and continue to wait patiently until they pull it off.

Ouch! Arfur, I had a feeling it was a stop loss triggered.

I made the same mistake years ago in AFPO and had to buy back in at a massive premium, I don't know how but i suspect there's an algorithm that bottom sweeps and takes out stop losses when there's high demand for stock.

Bottom line, don't set stop losses.
