Horse Hill Field Granted Long-Term Production Consent by OGA







UK Oil & Gas PLC (London AIM: UKOG) is pleased to announce that the Oil and Gas Authority has approved the Horse Hill Field Development Plan and consented to the start of long-term production ("Production") from the field.



This key consent will enable net recoverable reserves to be allocated to the Company, a pre-requisite for future potential debt-based funding. It will also permit the Company to enter into long-term field operations contracts which can help reduce operating costs below $19 per barrel, making the field more profitable even at current low oil prices.



Portland oil pool Production will commence via Horse Hill-1 ("HH-1"), with Kimmeridge Production planned to be added in late spring via a conversion of the well to a dual completion. Production from HH-2z is planned to follow upon completion of the current extended well testing campaign.

Some? Anyone who bought in at above 0.16p will be haunting this board until at least Loxley decision is made imo.

I would get in quick and buy now before the price drops further. Sound investing advice imo.

It does make you wonder why UKOG didn't say they were still waiting for NSTA approval for the HH-2z approval well in yesterday's RNS. No doubt there was a reason for it. Unfortunately many on here will now pay the price.

But it is over 800m away from HH-1 where they are producing from. A lot of good that is going to be.

"In a statement today, UKOG said it would now go ahead with plans to convert the Horse Hill-2z well (HH-2z) into a water re-injector during 2022. The company also has permission to drill a second reinjection well."

UKOG is still waiting for permission from the industry regulator, the North Sea Transition Authority, to convert the HH-2z well to waste reinjection.

An addendum to the Horse Hill field development plan, submitted in 2020, has not yet been approved.

Who would put their money on 2022 given UKOG's track record. Why do they need a 2nd injector well? Is the 1st one in the wrong place?

That is probably why no one has successfully carried it out in the UK yet. Just look at the figures for re-injection and production at Wytch Farm and tell me you are right.

The key words are "plans" and "which, if implemented" . They don't actually say they are going to carry it out as they still don't have NSTA FDP approval.
But then again we have had enough mugs buy so we can make more money when they wake up and realise they have been conned yet again. Just my opinion though.

Name 1 UK well that has increased the of productivity ten fold min. I bet you can't. Horsehill is 13th in the list of production fields on 59 bopd so your post really is a load of rubbish.

That can only mean good news for the traders that have taken advantage of the spike.

You have to meet the KPI's before you get a bonus. They haven't even been close.

Horse Hill fell another place to 13th. Monthly production dropped to 262m3, the lowest since September 2021, when production was suspended for several weeks.

They already have a production permit. Do you know what the EA application was for? I doubt it.
What happened to the approval from the NSTA?

So they applied in 2021 and then cancelled the application a few months later before applying again in 2022. Never let the truth get in the way of a good story.

Not sure if they have got that right. They hadn't even drilled HH-2Z on 24 September 2019.
