PEDL234 Loxley drilling commitment deadline extended by two years



UK Oil & Gas PLC (London AIM: UKOG) is pleased to announce that the Oil and Gas Authority has granted a two-year extension to the time period in which the Company's 100% interest PEDL234 Loxley-1 gas appraisal well must commence. In order to satisfy the licence's Retention Area programme, Loxley-1 drilling must now commence before 31st December 2023.

Looks like UKOG will have to go back to the NSTA for yet another extension as they haven't even submitted Planning Applications for the over 10 conditions imposed by the Planning Inspector before anything can start on site at Loxley. It took them nearly 2 years to get the 4 conditions at HH passed before they could drill HH-2.

Not sure how it affects UKOG as Loxley is at least 6 years away from producing gas even if they get that far.
I'm really looking forward to more SCC planning meetings. Always good for a laugh.

Any money UKOG gets is valuable given the state of all the accounts they have published. £136,000 net is p'nuts. Some of you really don't have a clue when it comes to money apart from losing it.
