I think Chariot is quite a bit different to JOG. Gas is more comfortable than oil/North Sea is a negative with windfall tax plus we have 1st 10 yrs tax free/1st oil expected 2026 which means probably 2027/JOG already let go of 50% and now another 30%/Chariot have other "pillars" - so has a lot more going for it.

JOG sp has increased about 25% since RNS and I would think Chariot have grounds to increase a lot more% due to above. 25% only takes it to 18p (last share issue) so 25p (ie more like 75% increase) sounds more realistic..... to begin with. All depends on the quality of the deal.

My current plan is to sell some at around 25p WHEN (not if!) it gets there, and run the rest.

ICB888 Thanks for your post last night 23.12 but do you know what these final 2 issues are which need sorting before the partner agreement can be ratified?

This is something I haven't seen mentioned on here. We constantly blame Char BOD for the delays but from what you are saying that may be unjustified.

I hope there is more chance of good news before Christmas than there is of Nasa's stray tool bag landing in my front garden!

Very encouraging to hear agreement on here about possible progress. I will join in that prophesy and I like the idea of good news next week! (as I have done for the last 4 yrs.... sssshhhhh)

The sharp rise to 18p - was that not because it was tipped in Investors Chronicle? This small rise feels different Lol

GP14 .... awawaw man ..... that was yesterday, but who cares! and Monday you put a huge bet of a quid that it would finish DOWN ¬ So what do we have for tomorrow? I'll go for 16.5p close.

I don't know how this works but the sp is struggling to get past 15p. Is it possible that brokers have buy orders at say 14.6p and they are short of stock. Not much selling so they can't reduce the price, and don't want to increase it until they have more to sell ??

If they are short, when the sp goes higher there will be a bigger spread or they won't cope?

You've been studying this one - got a decent investment in it then?

You have no doubt been following the news on Char and know that something is going to happen IMMINENTLY , which means SOON.

The Azzam would be an acceptable vessel to break open the champagne, but happy with a smaller 40 footer or so to prevent the likelyhood of getting lost!
