The latest Investing Matters Podcast episode featuring Jeremy Skillington, CEO of Poolbeg Pharma has just been released. Listen here.
Morning Sbrace06,
Sorry to hear you have caught COVID and wish you a speedy recovery, the good news is that the effects apparently are not as bad with the latest mutation, but you do feel so exhausted for a few weeks afterwards, this is from Clive, who has just got over his bout of COVID.
Good luck for a speedy recovery
Cheers,
Ian
Morning Portsmouth1,
"Hi Ian,
Sorry I have been out all day, had a second tumour (small) but they removed it, had a course of chemo and everything is fine, don't have to go back til August so happy with that..
Regards Colin.
Gla...."
Sorry for the late reply, as the weather was so lovely yesterday I persuaded Becky to go for a mini picnic with me at Southchurch Park, it has a model boating lake and I used to spend my youth there with my radio-controlled model boat when I could get the model engine started!!
Back then, most model boats were either the Diesel or Glow plug type, now they are apparently banned and only electric motors permitted, due to the noise! spoilsports....
Only an R/C sailing yacht was using the boating lake, but it was a lovely time spent with Becky out in the first real hot day of 2022.
Anyway, I digress, sorry for the late reply, but so happy for you that the outcome has been so good, and you feel fine, and are just under the normal six-monthly review, fantastic news!
All the best Colin,
Ian.
Good morning all,
Good Friday is looking to be a lovely sunny day here, and once the mist, fog, and low clouds clear in Dover, the sun will break through there.
Becky's lip is getting better by the day, overnight a big part of her lip scab about 8mm x 5mm went awol and the lip tissue underneath looks very normal and healthy, unfortunately, there is no trace of it on her pillow, so she thinks she may have accidentally ingested it! yuck!
Wolfe, previously banned several times has no morals or any real ideas!
No matter what political party is in power, they can not cure worldwide inflation, and that was what I was referring to!
This hyperinflation is not a UK specific problem, and if you think a change of political party will be able to cure it, dream on!
The worldwide cost of food production and energy has escalated, with no quick fix for any country.
Have a great weekend everyone with family and friends,
Thanks, Bumble, Joe, Les, and Colin, for your kind support,
Colin, I hope all is well with you now after your treatment, take care, sir,
All the best,
Ian
Late back on deck tonight,
Today's hopeful was our stalwart -
----------
SaxonAxe - 14/04/22
----------
Bad luck matey, nice try but no RNS!
In this strange new world of hyperinflation and wars, it is hard to get excited about anything!
In fact, it is downright depressing! But EUA is as good a bet as anything to make some money from, being fully funded and with money in the bank, whichever one that is!
If I sound a bit deflated, I am, bloody Pootin and his war machine causing worldwide angst!
I started on the Gin early tonight so forgive my musings!
Do have a lovely Easter everyone, and let us pray for an end to this invasion of Ukraine, the news flow is so depressing to watch being played out....
Time for another Gin :-)
Take care all, and have a good time on Easter Sunday with family,
Cheers.
Haha, just noticed I have a delivery today!
How does the UK's worst delivery service improve?... (Hermes)
It changes its name ....
Apparently, it is now known as ..... EVRi
Same old company ....NEW name!
Some things never change, I wonder if my parcel will be delivered by AIR over the garden fence :-)
Good morning all,
Another great post from Lovelyboy yesterday,
Today's hopeful is our stalwart -
----------
SaxonAxe - 14/04/22

Good luck mate!
Becky is recovering more each day, bruises are now fading, but can only drink through a straw still, and eating takes ages!
Talking of which, I have the Thursday breakfast meeting, as usual, it will be down on numbers as Clive has caught COVID, but he is feeling quite well but exhausted!
The guest house last week did have a few guests staying, hopefully, a few more this week as Easter approaches,
Good luck everyone, and stay safe.
Good morning Saxon,
Thanks, mate,
We have no one down for the guessing game today, but we do have you down for tomorrow :-)
A great write up of the current EUA situation from 'Lovelyboy' thank you for that, a great read,
Good luck everyone,
Yesterday was fun, I was drilling a hole in the wall with my Bosch drill when all of a sudden it made a vissing noise and whilst still running spat out a ball of flame from around the trigger aperture and actually burnt an imprint of the trigger on my poor finger, before blowing the fuse!
This is my second Bosch tool to suffer this dramatic fault....
There is nothing wrong with the electrics of the drill, per se, just the Line filter X-capacitors that are connected between line and neutral, to protect against Radio Frequency Interference give up in a most spectacular way when they go pop! producing a ball of fire and an awful smell, as this is contained within the trigger control housing I can not get to it to repair so a new replacement trigger switch is on its way...
Most of the X filter capacitors made by a company called RIFA in the 1980/90s are notorious for going pop after about 20 years, the clear plastic that they are moulded in crazes and cracks letting in moisture which causes the electrical failure in a big way with lots of magic smoke and fire!
Hopefully, the EUA share price rise will continue today :-)
GLA,
Good morning Saxonaxe and all,
Today's Birthday wishes go out to-
----------
SkankerMan - 12/04/22 - Happy Birthday!

Happy Birthday and good luck,
Becky's poor face is improving every day, and now some lovely greenish bruises have started to appear on her nose and chin, but her facial scabs seem to be getting smaller by the day and the lip swelling reducing, the five stitches on show in her bottom lip still looks like special effects from a horror movie!
Good luck everyone,
Cheers.
Evening Mike, you may or may not have seen this-

All the best.
Good evening all,
I invested in the company, and not in the share price, but it is getting a bit tiring when they yank the trapdoor at the last minute with a 9p UT .....
Posting up today's Birthday and RNS hopefuls early so I can pick Becky up from the station,
----------
Hawkspear - 11/04/22 - Happy 68th Birthday matey! :-)
DavePenny - 11/04/22

Hope you had a lovely 68th Birthday Hawkspear!
Have a lovely evening everyone,
Cheers.
Morning Saxonaxe,
Thanks for asking, we both went for a five-mile walk along the seafront yesterday in the sun which was nice, but people kept looking and staring at her poor face, she has to go to work today in London so has decided to hide her poor face under a covid mask to stop people from staring whilst she is on the train.... The poor lass has gone through the mill and to have five stitches in your bottom lip with the bare ends sticking out by up to 6mm in a scabby bloody mess does attract unwanted attention.
As children, we would have been told not to stare by our parents, and they would have smiled gently back at the unfortunate individual, nowadays the young parents stare as well as their kids....
Fingers crossed she does not require further plastic surgery, but! I don't know? she has to cover what's left of her bottom lip in vaseline to stop it from sticking to the top one overnight as it is still raw in places!
Thanks for your kind thoughts matey, and good luck.
All the best
Ian
Good morning all,
What will today bring for EUA's share price?
Today's hopefuls are:-
----------
Hawkspear - 11/04/22
DavePenny - 11/04/22
----------
- Happy 68th Birthday Hawkspear matey! Hope you have a lovely day:-)
Good luck to the rest of us!
Cheers.
Morning Tilly and Hawkspear,
She is not exactly ill, just she tripped on the pavement and smashed her poor face requiring four stitches on her bottom lip, with the normal grazes and a bruised nose.
She can't use a cup at the moment, only a straw, I did see the stainless steel ones that come with a cleaning brush, but thought they might transfer the heat of a hot drink and burn her lips?
So went for good old plastic as it is a bit of an insulator on the lips!
Some women pay good money to have collagen injected into their lips to have Becky's new look ..... :-)
She is much better today and getting over the shock of it all....
It will take time to fully heal,
Thanks, everyone.
Good morning all,
Dear Becky seems to be recovering well, she is unable to drink from a cup and I got some paper straws, then we find these replacement straws to cut plastic waste are useless for hot drinks, they fall apart and disintegrate.
Luckily Amazon came to the rescue, you CAN still get plastic straws....
There are some now branded as 'REUSABLE' to get around that 'can't sell one time use plastic straws' conundrum!
So Becky can now slurp her hot tea and coffee :-)
Thanks again for all the get well soon wishes,
Lovely to see some blue in the EUA share price yesterday, hopefully, the same today!
Today's only hopeful is:-
----------
Aspenwood - 08/04/22 - 07:00 am
----------
Good luck everyone, and thank you again,
Ian
Good evening all,
I would just like to thank everyone who wished Becky well today, she has bounced back very well, pain killers are wonderful things:-)
Breakfast club meet-up was down on numbers today due to illness and prior engagements, only Mick turned up and on walking back to the car park together I exclaimed, look at that car parked so close to mine, and on that Mick held out his hand and operated a remote fob to unlock the car. Flabbergasted I said that's not your car...It is you know, I picked it up from London yesterday!
It was an i3 BMW electric job and we have spen the rest of today trying to work out how to operate it...
New toy and all that so that is wher today went....
Today's hopefuls for an RNS were:-
----------
Intothedeep - 07/04/22 - 07:00 am
RailwayPete - 07/04/22
----------
Bad luck everyone, today is not your day:-)
Great to end the day up, long may it continue.
Have a lovely evening everyone and thanks again, Becky is overwhelmed by you kindness.
All the best
Ian
Good morning all,
The world is currently witnessing turbulent times,
From wars, riots, floods, earthquakes, hyperinflation, you name it,
EUA mines what the world needs and has it in abundance,
EUA is currently caught up in Putins war on Ukraine, which has turned Russia into an unpopular state to do business with by the West,
EUA has NO direct sanctions by the West,
EUA is in a sale of assets to a BRICS country, so not affected,
As soon as Putin stops things will improve,
Today's hopefuls for an RNS are:-
----------
Intothedeep - 07/04/22 - 07:00 am
RailwayPete - 07/04/22
----------
Good luck everyone,
Yesterday was not a good day, poor Becky tripped whilst out jogging and I got a call to retrieve her.
Her poor face had smashed into the pavement and her t shirt was coverd in blood, I took her straight to the Southend A&E where they then refered her to Broomfield hospital in Chelmsford, so off we go to Broomfield hospital which has grown into the size of a shopping mall from the one I remember when I used to do work there 20 years ago.
Her tooth brace was broken and had to be cut away, but fortunately, no broken teeth, just a brused nose, general grazes, and required just four stitches in her bottom lip.... She was very lucky!
Thursday breakfast meet up on for today as normal for me so off to get washed and ready.
Good luck everyone for today, we sure all need some!
Cheers.
Good morning all,
What will today bring?
God only knows!
Frustrating is the word!
Today's only hopeful is:-
----------
Portsmouth1 - 05/04/22 -

Good luck Colin, I hope you are keeping well?
Good luck everyone, and peace for Ukraine asap,
Cheers.
