If that 450k trade was a Buy how did we drop 6%? Surely the other 1m were not all Sells? Not doubting you HD but those trades seem to trigger the drop. I don’t have L2 and access to the Order book. Does it definitely specify a direction of the order e.g. Buy/Sell? Anyway there is a degree of comfort from our knowledgeable 3% holder and hopefully this just a “technical” adjustment, whatever that means, but it’s something Eric once used as a reason to me on a similar day...and we rose sharply the next day.

Seems to be a battle between those who expected the cash position to be higher, and those who are excited by the future prospects. I’m in both camps so will hold.

Blimey someone got rinsed with that 300k trade. Maybe PB didn’t forward sell all of their warrants & have offloaded their converted shares. Just thinking out load on that. SP has held up remarkably well, and I think that large buy order in the wings has helped underpin the price.

They would’ve got them @ 22.5p on the bell this morning. May as well get in ASAP!

The optimal solution for shareholders was probably that the company managed to get bought out, and they were able to salvage something from the takeover. Failing that then I think shareholders will welcome a re-listing and the chance to have a bit more control over their holdings again (which have probably been written off). One things for sure, if ABH is bringing this back onto a market, then he'll need a VERY good business case!

It’s so easy just to blame the CEO for a falling share price. I know AST’s has made mistakes, but when a share is under attack like this there’s only so much the company can do. Any mistake becomes amplified and everyone becomes the best armchair CEO in the world. The fundamentals of AST hasn’t changed too much tbh, and so I hope the SP will turnaround quickly once good news is announced, or the manipulation ceases. The two things may well be linked, which will create a quicker return to parity.
