Rick - just curious, I have not carried cash for over a year - and use my CC - carried next to my club card, all the time. But I'm an optimist, or hadn't noticed much increase... just a discount. ;-)
Yes, thanks Stu for that, a really dense read and my (out of date) engineering training made it hard going, but I do think I will add any spare, or not spare, cash to my modest holding.

I second the thanks for clarification of probable explanation - which did have me worried as over 3 years my holdings are over twice the investment of my other individual shares.
As an ordinary employee, I was also for many years allocated shares in my company. Almost everyone else sold them ASAP. I never did - and years later was very happy.
SHAP - I hold GLEN, FRES, & RDSB - not my best performers, more hopeful now with inflation looming.
I was convinced the US was fully valued and sold my partners S&P 500 ETF about 3 years ago! A mistake then, but I would now.
