The figure of 1.7p sounds credible - and, importantly for me, and many LTH who topped up, will be a modest return for our 6/7 years investment. 2p plus would be nicer, but considering the 100% loss too recently expected, will be a huge relief. GLA

Can I gently point out, in a liberal democracy the UK* still is, a one party government for an extended period is not desirable? And, yes - I do include my own. Only perhaps, Singapore, seemed to do fairly well, with a more disciplined and informed electorate than most. (*I may add, we have a Putin admirer working hard attacking us, and has scary successes here)

Surely we all know about the payment? Approaching the date, I used to watch the movements of my other holdings, both for balance and/or interesting news. There have been a few times, when I caught a "down" - with a jump later.

I am with Interactive Investors; almost always available on the day - to buy instantly; or for cash out, later on same or next day for sure. Yours must have very good other benefits to stay, (for me at least)

I am now enjoying the dividends - at 40% IHT for my grandchildren, started to be relaxed about spending, at 90+!

Got my 200K correct as a "buy"
