I was until the dilution, Airbus revised profit warning, RR engine deliveries behind the curve, Supplier issues, low volume; to name just a few, and of course, the past few weeks of volatility in negative territory!

Of course the dilution comes before the August results which is good timing. I believe turbo man has got this right as may indicate good half year results in which case there could be a buy back announced and hopefully on our way back to higher gains?

I believe this is an over reaction. Dissappointing yes but how many times have we seen this only for share price to recover. Buying opportunity in my view

June 4th and June 14th - Looking at similiar drops compared with today Badlands, if you look at the chart. Appears to have dropped 12 points before a steady recovery. I'm with you on this one. Very frustrating, especially with the recent re-ratings.

I believe we will recover next week and hopefully get near the allusive £5. If it does I'm booking another 🚢 . GLA

Be careful guys. Due to my gains in my non isa account I'll be paying approx. 7.5k in tax this year. The last two years I've been paying £600 per year for tax assessment. I spoke to my advisor about ignoring the tax but I was advised HRMC will be looking more closely at your banking details as more and more people getting drawn into these unfair tax thresholds. If your caught you will be fined as well as paying back any outstanding tax owed.

However who would of thought we would be worrying about CGT.

I think it is a good thing to celebrate success. I owned Lloyds for years and was down for many years. Took the gamble and sold at a loss. I'm not here to gloat or indeed I'm not one for shouting the odds. We all know it's a gamble but just now and again I like to read about the success stories especially the young people getting on board and winning. I invested my sons ISA and doing very well. I sell when I need to and hold when I need to. These newbies coming on and trying to tell us long shareholders what is right and wrong about so called gloating. As I said I've been on the loosing side and know how it feels. GLA

Does the airline only operate four freighter A330 aircraft with the trent 700. I'm looking to confirm this is not a aircraft with RR engines. As I said earlier this is a hydraulic issue. Appears so far not engine related.

The cause was failed hydraulics. Makes you wonder about the quality of aircraft maintenance?

No doubt we can look forward to an overreaction to the share value

It's a shame there is so much antagonism on the site. There are good posts, some ramping, some negative and of course the positive posts, but you need the balanced views, and the links that sometimes we miss.

I view Stocktwits to get a different view point and you do not see this level of hate.

We should support each other and respect the different opinions don't you agree?

I believe RR is a good long term investment and has much more to give.

Again just my view. I'm on a cruise myself in the next couple of weeks. Should I be judged on that. Oh, and paid for by RR.
