Now it's at around 100p, a 100% increase. I appreciate that's no comfort for anyone, myself included, that bought in during the run-up, but you live and learn. If the value of the news update is already priced in, there is no parachute or safety net for a crash. If the news update is better than expected, than that is potentially safe territory. Otherwise, all it takes is the first wobble of the day, and for a big debate over the meaning of "not significant", and the rest becomes a self-fulfilling prophecy.

@Hat, sadly I would not be surprised if your £1 or less becomes available in the next few sessions, unless 4D have something up their sleeves in the short term.

Anything less than a stellar result, with attendant forward risk on e.g. outcome of other pipeline items inc Covid item, means that there is no premium value over the pent-up nascent value that had been added during the expectation period, the 2 months since mid August. So pop, the value is not actually there, or as you say, will potentially be way to hard to realise. Boof, support gone.

Alternatively, two months later the share has been talked up, and the expected results much talked about, and up it goes to 170, around a 140% increase, in those two months. So then along come the results, and they are only as good as the reasonably positive results out-of-the-blue results you’d have been happy with. So this is no surprise, really…

Quite right @Loch, this is, all being well, just a peer review (of Ulster) away from green light for personal testing. That said I think there will be a while/work needed (unless it's been happening in parallel) to get an app alongside the strip (probably the Abingdon app, but even smarter would be an enhancement to the NHS app. It'll then have a slot (on the app) for Ag testing too, and that's where Avacta fits in.
