George Frangeskides, Chairman at ALBA, explains why the Pilbara Lithium option ‘was too good to miss’. Watch the video here.
This is like many other stocks on AIM, this market is dead. The SP on AIM only seems to reflect actual income, often does not even cover cash on account or certainly not always asset value. AIM companies that have a strong IP and patent portfolio must hate this situation as the IP certainly is not reflected in the SP, in USA markets investors seem to appreciate innovation and this is shown in the market cap. I suppose the UK economy is so weak and lack of disposable income means lack of investors in AIM. A real shame for the few excellent companies, with a strong IP portfolio (for example DGI and BIRD), in this market place, who will probably only be noticed when they are taken over. Probably at a good premium to the lowly market cap at the time, so news making when it happens, but knowing when this end game is going to happen is impossible. Alternative to the end game is trading on AIM, but with such low volumes and often wide spreads, this is just a loss maker for most and really just gambling as the SP never seems to reflect the true value of the company.
Considering what's going on in the video editing world just now and the massive development of AI within video production, it is imho quite astonishing that share volume is so low here at Blacbird. AIM is certainly does not appear to be as it was pre COVID. So disappointing that the excitement has drained away from it, I suppose it mirrors the reality here in the UK. We all need an economic boost and the world to be a more positive place. Fingers crossed for a better future.
Thanks for that post. No evidence that we are involved in Google Vids, but if we are not, we certainly should be, or at this stage in Blackbirds history at least working with a major so that our disruptive tech can be fully utilised. NAB 2024 starts in a couple of days, I would expect any major news to be timed with that. IMHO. DYOR. And GLA.

Well you are wrong. You should do some research before you speak. Here is the previous office on Rightmove. https://www.rightmove.co.uk/properties/133254740
Good luck to all those who actually hold shares. Exciting times ahead! imho

I love this bit
"EVage is a key supplier of zero-emission electric vans to global FMCG, e-commerce and logistics companies. EVage commercial vehicles have been running on Indian roads for over three years"
I feel this is the making of DGI.
This is amazing news.
Well done DGI

It is the nature of the business that it is developed over time. In fact almost all cloud based software solutions are in continuous development. Continuous development allows for continuous improvements as requested by users. Users don't want the old fashioned business model of create a package, which users buy, and are then stuck with the version they have, until they have to update it manually or at extra cost. One of the main benefits of cloud based software is it can be continuously improved without having any impact on the user, apart from the improvements the end users sees.
I thought Maxwell was owned by Tesla, am I correct? If I am correct, if CPX lost against Maxwell, what would be the point in us taking CPX? What is the remaining value in CPX? Super capacitors are quite a different product to our current projects so taking forward R and D in them would require additional equipment and staff with additional expense. Yes we have ex Tesla BoDs, but I don't think they are working for Tesla now.
This is one of our competitors

Yep sodium will replace lithium in many battery uses. Sodium is less energy dense so is ideal grid battery storage systems and I think lithium will become obsolete for that application as it makes no sense using expensive lithium batteries for application where energy density is not critical . Lithium is best for vehicles in terms of power density, so doubt it will get fully replaced in vehicles. The winner in synthetic graphite will be the one that can create it with the least energy, so by definition will be the greenest, particularly is they use waste products as well.. I can't remember the companies but there are at least two in Australia
We are not developing or creating batteries (I can't see it mentioned on the website), we are developing carbon anodes for use by others in their batteries. The Chinese already are producing sodium batteries in large quantities for EVs, but there are supply issues with graphite, so a demand exists for alternatives to graphite. See https://cleantechnica.com/2023/04/22/the-sodium-ion-battery-is-coming-to-production-cars-this-year/ and https://www.whichcar.com.au/news/byd-may-launch-first-sodium-ion-battery-electric-car-in-2023 sodium batteries perform better than Lithium in cold temperatures so EVs are getting a mix of both. On graphite see https://investingnews.com/daily/resource-investing/battery-metals-investing/graphite-investing/graphite-forecast/
