I heard on the private groups Greycoat is a day trader trying to smack down anyone that talks any sense to he/she can keep the noise going. These boiler room lads hey, they come and go.
Why did I invest at Β£2? Because I didn't understand how things worked at the time and I was swayed by group think on forums by other people that didn't understand things. A lesson learned and I've come a long way since.
The only thing you are showing the world here is that you don't understand how business value is calculated (as I once didn't).
There is a bull case. Just not the one people are pushing
Mate - I am heavily invested and have been since the Β£2 days. Many people here know me away from this board so please don't try that nonsense just because you don't like facts about how businesses are valued. This business based on current performance has a base value of just shy of 60p per share. That can be up to double based on prospect. But the math is the math. Like it or hate it.
It's not about being negative it's about understanding finances or not.
Talking only about revenue is a distraction. Anyone can sell things at low margin and make revenue. It's useless if you are making a loss on each item sold. I am not sure what people are not getting.
It's still a bull case when we measure the business correctly. All I am calling out is snake oil valuations using measures and statements that appeal to the heart and not the head.
Maybe it's cognitive dissonance and people don't want to wake up to reality.
Stan the man you can't cherry pick the valuation metric because it's the one that fits the bull case through we need to be grounded and understand how this business is fairly valued. Revenue is irrelevant without profit. Especially in a commodity business which is largely what this is now.
For context that values it at 58p today and a quid if it can do 150m ebitda
This is pure baseline enterprise valuation though without any premium or growth froth and expectation factored in. Each metric could double or more with hype and expansion.
We just need to see the fruits... Er jam... Of it now.
Only thing that matters for this company is showing that it is FCF and profit generating and that those numbers are on a growth trad, it's that simple.
