Eggonaroll, that's the best description for these boards I've heard for a long while :)
Microchip=microcap
Riseagain have you considered getting a job/hobby instead of spending your days posting on unsuccessful AIM microchip companies? As you can see from the endless falls from 1.9p a mere 10 months ago that nobodies buying, so even the "I'm trying to protect the ill informed from buying" that the chronically negative share posters always roll out doesn't make any sense. Maybe you're bitter or just have nothing better to do with your life? (which is fine) but I'd suggest a paper round or stacking shelves might be more satisfying if you've got too much time on your hands (and would probably make you more money)
Bigbench, unfortunately Bandys never had a plan b on any of his previous dusters so I wouldn't hold my breath. His usual MO between dusters is to draw an overinflated wage (way over £100k if I remember rightly) wait a few years and then pick up another random asset that he can then fundraise against before the inevitable duster happens. Rinse and repeat ad nauseum and you have the history of RMP. Best of luck but those trapped in after the Philippines drill had to wait 3 years before he picked up Winx.
Feel similarly to others that Arkoma not being that great has been known about for a while now and the fact that they still haven't gotten reliable flow rates after months just reinforces what others have said about the funds being better used elsewhere... Personally I hope the additional 6% is never taken up as it just seems to be a waste of money compared to funding a Welch horizontal drill or Stanley 2 drill.
No it was just your imagination.
Personally I think spending $230k on 6% of Arkoma is an absolute waste (reduced reserves for the field and months to even get flow rates) if the money can be used elsewhere for more oil production to Mosman. To avoid the constant cycle of placings the company needs more production and revenue. Whether that's from Welch horizontals or more Baja drills if the first goes well. I won't even mention the Oz assets as the BOD has had years of doing nothing with it.
Doug if you don't think your posts makes anyone buy or sell why do you still do it endlessly? Because apparently even you don't think you're 'saving' anyone. Is it that you only post because of Spary? That seems like quite a sad life to lead mate. Why not get a hobby or job instead of sitting on here all day?
True but people are going to dump this now. Waiting for drill results for months and then RNS saying were still weeks and maybe months away from anything meaningful. All the while if MMs have been given the new shares they'll sell any time the price even looks like going above 1.3p. PI's will move their money elsewhere as the prospect for short term gains has pretty much dissapeared here and go chasing rainbows elsewhere. Can't say the wording in the RNS convinced me they'd found anything good and am worried it will turn out to be the mining equivalent of a duster. Not a good day...
But he does control his overinflated pay packet. I'd like to see him explain what value he's delivered to shareholders over the last year to justify what he takes home. Just looking at the 12 month graph shows how well things are going
What a great asset it's turned out to be. The SP was 1.4p before taking it up now a few months later and we're down 70% to 0.4p.... What great management that pays themselves more in wages than the asets produce. Last one out turn off the lights.....
Simulator don't accuse me of being that dipstick ;) he just copied my text to reply to in his own post. I was going to respond to him saying I don't spend all day looking at the trades and all that matters is that we ended the day up. (It's almost like his posting has no affect on the SP) But I'll take others advice and just ignore him since he's just got an agenda or issues that none of us can fix.
Riseagain. After that sell was a 17k buy and a few more smaller buys since so I'd suggest you're wrong (a common occurrence no doubt)
SM_14 newbies to the share, get rich merchants and day traders may think a few months is an unacceptably long time to wait but most longtime holders that have been waiting on a result for years would be happy that there's a possible end to the saga in sight (or will it be yet another false dawn). Depends on your point of view I suppose.
I was expecting that to link to the Benny Hill chase music tO be honest :) Colin can't even manage to keep this a penny share...
Tagenaris it was pumped to 2p to let people that had 1.4p placing shares to flip them. Even for AIM it was blatant with the rise, RNS about placing and fall back all happening in a day or two. Still back to hibernating until we ever get news (if we ever do after a few years I'm starting to give up thinking that it'll ever come)
Not really that much to say that hasn't already been said 100 times already. The change in personnel at the top might improve the chance of an agreement otherwise we're waiting on the Moz legal system like we have been for years now... I've been here long enough to not expect quick progress on either front tbh. I was expecting a firesale placing so I guess I'm happy with 1p (although everything's relative what with the last one being at 1.4p) And am concerned that all that has changed is that we just have 2 more people on the payroll. Hopefully they prove me wrong and manage to actually achieve something beyond running down the companies funds.
Therealist without wanting to speak for Richard I'd imagine the post you considered agressive was towards longandwrong rather than yourself. If you've followed the board L&W seems to almost fanatically support the BOD (his last post was the only one I've seen where he accepts they could have done things better) For any company with a Mcap of £1.3 million and no revenue to be having BOD renumeration of over £200k a year for what is at best a part time endeavour is completely outrageous and unjustifiable. The mention of the 75 million possible placing in the RNS wasn't to assure the market it was to say that 25% of an enlarged shares in issue could be given to Trew supporters on the cheap if needed to ensure that he keeps his cushy job (and screw shareholders) which I find indefensible and am personally furious about.
Longandwrong whilst your post was to Richard I'd like to make a few comments. Firstly given there are no ongoing operations or negotiations how much of the week do you think Nick spends on PFP business for his £170k?because other than checking the email to see if there's any update from the Moz lawyers about once a week I don't think he's sat at a desk 9-5 mon-fri to deserve a full time wage to be honest. In the last month he seems to have put more effort into protecting his own position than he's made on behalf of shareholders over several years. Secondly do you actually read the RNS'S the company issues? You keep going on about Cavaco not being involved in discussions so what he says about it doesn't matter. (Although my understanding was he and the General jointly own the entity that the licences are currently held by) But even if I'm wrong about that if you read the 26th Feb RNS the company says that it was General Veloso's representative that contacted them to say there's no ongoing negotiations. So do you believe what the company itself has said? Thirdly without being a lawyer or having seen the EGM paperwork I can't say if it was valid or Nick & Henry are just trying to keep their snouts in the trough for as long as possible (but today's RNS saying they're mulling at a 75 million share placing seems like their interested in themselves more than shareholders) It's funny how you say with hindsight you wish as a shareholder you'd demanded the BOD acted differently but seem so against any AGM or EGM motions that would actually make them answerable to shareholders... Oh well a 12 month low today and lower to go yet I imagine aren't we lucky to have such a talented BOD.
Therealist if Bellingham is dodgy I'd prefer him out whatever the method to be honest. Not sure why anyone would still be supportive of the current BOD after what's been happening. It was nice of them to remind us in this mornings RNS that they still have 75 million more shares for placings if they want....
